The place has this lived-in comfort that you can’t fake – like someone’s grandmother decorated it with actual care instead of just ordering everything from a hotel supply catalog. The kitchen actually has sharp knives (miracle!), and there are enough towels for everyone without having to do laundry every other day. What really sold me was walking in and immediately feeling like I could kick off my shoes and sprawl on the couch. The kids claimed the living room within minutes, spreading out their stuff everywhere, and it didn’t feel wrong or like we were going to break something precious. That’s honestly rare in a 4-star place – usually there’s this underlying tension about touching anything.

The whole setup works perfectly for families who want to feel settled rather than like they’re camping out in someone else’s space. I loved that there were actual books on the shelves (not just decor books nobody reads), and the WiFi didn’t cut out every time someone tried to stream something. Little things, but they add up when you’re trying to keep everyone happy for more than a couple days. The bedrooms are properly dark for sleeping – blackout curtains that actually block out light, thank goodness – and the beds don’t creak every time you roll over. Storage space is generous too, so you’re not living out of suitcases the entire time. One small thing though – the shower pressure is just okay, not amazing, but totally workable. Worth mentioning the neighborhood stays pretty quiet in the evenings, which was perfect for us but might feel too sleepy if you’re looking for nightlife walking distance. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward small talk while you’re standing there with all your luggage just wanting to get settled.
