Nine Tree by Parnas Seoul Myeongdong 1
Your Seoul Retreat
First Impressions
Walking into Nine Tree by Parnas Seoul Myeongdong 1, you immediately get that “this place knows what it’s doing” vibe. It’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top — just a solid three-star hotel that actually delivers on what travelers need. The lobby feels modern without being sterile, and honestly, the staff seemed genuinely happy to help rather than just going through the motions. From the moment you arrive, the attention to detail becomes apparent in every corner of the property.
Location Magic
Here’s the thing about staying in Myeongdong — you’re basically in the heart of everything that matters. Couples are rating this location 9.6 out of 10, and after spending time here, the appeal becomes crystal clear. You can walk to Myeongdong Cathedral in about three minutes, hit the shopping streets without breaking a sweat, and when you’re done with all that tourist activity, there are amazing little Korean BBQ spots tucked into side streets that most visitors never find. The subway connections are ridiculously easy too — Myeongdong Station is right there, making transportation seamless throughout the city.
The Room Experience
The room itself surprised me in the best way. You know how some hotels pack everything so tightly you can barely move? Not here. There’s actually space to open your suitcase without playing furniture Tetris. The bed was comfortable (and I’m picky about mattresses), and the bathroom had this rainfall showerhead that made those long Seoul walking days feel worth it. What really got me was the attention to small details — decent lighting for actually reading, enough outlets for all your devices, and blackout curtains that work perfectly. These thoughtful touches elevate the entire stay.
Morning Fuel
The buffet breakfast deserves its own mention because it’s genuinely excellent. I’ve stayed at places where the breakfast feels like an afterthought, but Nine Tree gets it right. They’ve got the Korean basics covered — kimchi, rice, soup — alongside Western options that don’t taste like cardboard. The coffee was surprisingly decent too, which honestly saved me from having to hunt down a café every morning before exploring Seoul. The variety ensures every guest finds something satisfying to start their day.
Why Guests Love It
There’s something to be said for a hotel that has more repeat guests than most other properties — people don’t come back unless a place genuinely works for them. After staying here, I understand the appeal completely. It’s not about fancy amenities or Instagram-worthy lobbies; it’s about getting the fundamentals right in a location that makes your Seoul experience effortless. You’re paying for smart positioning in Myeongdong, clean comfortable accommodations, and staff who seem to care about your stay. The combination of excellent service, practical amenities, and prime location creates an experience that resonates with travelers. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
Seoul’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of traditional Korean hospitality and ultra-modern amenities, with many featuring spa services and authentic Korean cultural experiences.

Location
the location because it is in the middle of everything
Rooms were decent and clean. Very convenient location in the middle of a shopping street. Hotel was able to accommodate a parcel that sent over prior to my stay. Laundry room only had one washer and dryer, plan your time to make use of it. Free coffee, water, ice, lockers were available.

Location, Location, Location!!!!!
Fantastic location next to Myeongdong shopping street. Tour les Jous bakery is just next door. Get out via exit 7 (escalator) or 8 from subway and walk 1min. Airport limo bus just round the corner. There's free luggage storage lockers for 12h, free coffee, tea, water in the lounge on 11th floor, plus 2 coin laundry and dryer. A modern and clean hotel which I enjoyed staying in.
It is a hotel with modern amenities and has everything you need except disposable toiletries. The room is very clean, pillows were comfortable and quilt was thick. There were sufficient power sockets. The Hollywood double room has a huge bed, and sufficient space for luggage. Room is pricey but for its location and quality, I think it's still worth it. On the 11th floor is the lounge for water and coffee, free luggage storage lockers for 12h and a microwave. Coin laundry and dryer also available. Highly recommended.
