You know what, when I first walked into Rosana Hotel, I wasn’t expecting much – I mean, it’s a solid 3-star place with decent reviews, but sometimes those can be misleading. Honestly though, I was pleasantly surprised by how much character this place actually has. The lobby has this lived-in feel that’s way more welcoming than those sterile chain hotels you usually encounter. The staff at check-in were genuinely friendly (not that forced hospitality thing), and they actually remembered my name the next morning, which doesn’t happen often anymore.

The rooms are exactly what you’d expect for a mid-range spot – clean, functional, nothing fancy but everything works properly. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night; you can tell they’ve put some thought into soundproofing because I barely heard any hallway noise or street sounds. The beds are actually comfortable too – not too soft, not too firm, just that sweet spot where you don’t wake up with a crick in your neck. The bathrooms are a bit on the smaller side, but the water pressure is excellent and the hot water doesn’t run out halfway through your shower (trust me, I’ve been burned by that before). I did notice the WiFi can be a bit spotty in some corners of the building, but it’s reliable enough for checking emails and scrolling social media.

What really sets this place apart is the little details that show someone cares about the guest experience. The housekeeping staff does this thing where they fold your towels into these neat little shapes – nothing over the top, just thoughtful touches that make you feel like they’re paying attention. There’s also this small seating area near the front desk where you can grab complimentary coffee in the mornings, and it’s actually good coffee, not that watery stuff you sometimes get. The location works well if you don’t mind a short walk to get to the main action – it’s quiet enough that you can get a good night’s sleep but close enough that you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere. Parking can be a bit tight during busy periods, but the front desk usually has good suggestions for nearby spots. Overall, for the price point and that 7.9 rating, Rosana Hotel delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises.
