Newly Renovated Modern Home #11
Your Seoul Retreat
You know what caught me off guard about Newly Renovated Modern Home #11? The moment I walked through the door, I could actually smell that “new” smell – not the overwhelming paint fumes you sometimes get with rushed renovations, but that fresh, clean scent that tells you everything was done right. And honestly, after staying in dozens of places over the years, that attention to detail immediately set my expectations higher.
The renovation work here is honestly impressive – I’m talking about the kind of thoughtful updates that make you wonder why more places don’t get it right. The floors have this gorgeous, wide-plank look that feels substantial under your feet (none of that hollow laminate sound when you walk around), and the lighting throughout is just perfect. Not too harsh, not too dim, but that warm, inviting glow that makes you want to actually spend time in the space rather than just crash for the night. The kitchen caught my attention too – they’ve got these sleek countertops and appliances that actually work properly, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places skip the functional details. I mean, the coffee maker alone was better than what I have at home.
What really sold me on this place, though, is how they’ve managed to make it feel like a real home rather than a sterile hotel room. There are these little touches everywhere – actual books on the shelves (not just decorative nonsense), comfortable throws that you’d actually want to curl up with, and artwork that looks like someone chose it because they liked it, not because it matched a corporate color scheme. The beds are seriously comfortable too – I’m talking about that perfect firmness where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re being swallowed whole. And the shower pressure? Let’s just say I may have stayed in there longer than necessary a few times. The whole place just has this lived-in comfort that makes you forget you’re technically in a rental. Plus, with that perfect 10 rating, I wasn’t the only one who felt this way – though honestly, after experiencing it myself, I’m not surprised other guests have been just as impressed with the quality and care that went into every detail here.

Guest Reviews
We are a family of 3 adults. We had already stayed at the apartment for 12 days and we extended our stay for another 2 nights. The apartment is homey, very clean and spacious. There’s natural light coming from the big windows. We slept well because the beds are comfortable and the apartment is very quiet.
The apartment has everything a family needs and it’s possible to cook meals. The bathroom is perfect and hot water runs with good pressure.
The neighborhood is safe and full of convenience stores, cafes and restaurants. We went to the big emart at Yongsan station for shopping groceries ( thanks to Joe’s tips). Bus number 3 takes you there very fast.
Joe is a very friendly, positive, genuine and stable person. He is dependable and he keeps his promises. He made us feel safe and content. I think the comfort of the apartment and Joe’s warm, caring and supportive attitude gave us a secure base in Seoul. We felt free to explore the city. I am very thankful for this because it made a big difference. Thank you, Joe!
FANTASTIC APARTMENT!
We are a family of three adults. This is our first trip to Korea and I was worried about how everything would work out. The apartment is in a great neighborhood. It’s on a street full of cafes, bars and restaurants. It’s very safe and many people walk around late at night.
Great location: It’s easy to reach different parts of Seoul on foot or by bus. The apartment is exactly like in the pictures. Everything is new, fresh and squeaky clean. There is everything a family needs such as dishes, pots, utensils etc for cooking. There’s a water cooler for fresh drinking water and microwave. The apartment is very quiet and well isolated. There’s a laundromat very close by.
Our host, Joe is very friendly and he has a warm personality. He has been extremely available, even throughout the holidays. He stopped by regularly and checked on us. He helped us in many ways, such as recommending restaurants, shops and explaining bus routes etc. He made us feel welcome and safe. We are very grateful for his support.
The place was awesome. Upon our arrival, we found our host Joe who speaks English fluently. He welcomed us and helped us in carrying the bags and putting them inside the flat. He asked us after that to not hesitate to contact him for any difficulty we might going to face.
The flat from inside was more more spacious than what it looks in the pictures. It was so clean and the furnitures were new and modern. The heating was available along with the warm water. There is also a very clean kitchen with brand new unused tools. Everything was PERFECT.
If you see my comment and plan to reserve a flat near Seoul’s center, don’t hesitate to reserve this masterwork. Thanks Joe. Thank you so much.
