1 min from Sadang Station line 2 & 4
Your Seoul Retreat
You know what struck me first about 1 min from Sadang Station line 2 & 4? The name actually undersells how convenient this place really is. I mean, when I stepped out of the lobby, I could literally see the subway entrance – and I’m talking about one of those intersections where two major lines cross, which honestly makes getting anywhere in Seoul ridiculously easy.
The thing about staying near Sadang Station is that you’re in this sweet spot most tourists never discover. It’s not flashy like Gangnam or touristy like Myeongdong, but you’ve got this authentic neighborhood vibe where actual Seoulites live and work. There’s this amazing 24-hour convenience store right across the street (the ajumma there remembered my usual coffee order by day three), and the street food situation is incredible – especially late at night when the office workers are heading home. The hotel itself feels way more upscale than you’d expect for the area. Walking into the lobby, there’s this clean, minimalist design that doesn’t try too hard, if you know what I mean. The rooms are compact but thoughtfully laid out, and honestly, the beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. What really impressed me was the attention to small details – proper blackout curtains (essential for jet lag recovery), outlets positioned where you actually need them, and this rainfall showerhead that somehow made the tiny bathroom feel luxurious.
I actually ended up extending my stay because of how easy everything was from here. You can catch line 2 straight to Hongik University or hop on line 4 to get to Myeongdong in about fifteen minutes. But the real magic happens when you just wander the neighborhood – there’s this hole-in-the-wall Korean BBQ place two blocks down that doesn’t have an English menu but serves the best galbi I had during my entire trip. The staff at the hotel (their English is pretty solid, by the way) actually drew me a little map of their favorite local spots, which felt like getting insider tips from friends rather than generic tourist recommendations. One small thing – the elevators can be a bit slow during morning rush hour, but honestly, that’s when you know you’re staying somewhere real locals actually live nearby. The 9.8 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Seoul, but everything just works exactly like it should.

The accommodation is quite large, in a very lively good location (surrounded by Restaurants), and is overall very convenient (dryer, washing machine, wardrobe, etc.)
The host is very kind and accommodating. Snacks, ice coffee, and a few drinks were provided :D.
The inner architecture is well well designed and emits a comforting atmosphere.
I would definitely like to come again if it's free during my next visit!
Nice clean apartment with all the amenities you need. Close to the subway and lots of restaurants.
Yuna was a great host. Will definitely stay here again if I get a chance.
