The common areas have this unpretentious vibe that I really appreciated. There’s usually a good mix of business travelers and tourists hanging around the lobby in the evenings, and it creates this nice, relaxed atmosphere. I noticed they keep the coffee fresh throughout the day (small thing, but it matters), and the WiFi actually works consistently – no dropping out every five minutes like some places. The location works well too, though I’d recommend checking what’s around before you book since the specifics can make or break your stay depending on what you’re looking for. Parking wasn’t a nightmare, which is always a relief. The neighborhood tends to quiet down nicely in the evenings, so you’re not dealing with street noise all night. One thing I’d mention – if you’re the type who needs everything to be Instagram-perfect, this might not be your spot. But if you want a place that delivers on the basics without any pretense, where you can get a good night’s sleep and start your day without any drama, Hotel DM really does the job well.

  I want to give a credit to Ryan Lee, check-in counter staff. On the day we arrive, we left our handbag on the airport bus 6002. Our passports+cell phone+ cash are on inside! We rushed to the hotel and asked for help. Ryan immediately call the bus company and reached the bus driver. We got the bag back within an hour's time. Without Ryan's help, we will be in big big trouble!

  Great location near Dongdaemun with convenient traffic (metro lines 1 & 6; Incheon airport limousine 6002). Hotel is relatively new and clean. I had a semi-single room, small but for that a reasonable price. Breakfast is ok but not a must – better buy it just for a few mornings when staying several nights.
