About this stay

Your Seoul Retreat

Look, I’ll be honest with you – Y.ROAD 135 isn’t going to blow you away with fancy marble lobbies or infinity pools, but sometimes that’s exactly what you need. This 3-star spot has this refreshingly straightforward vibe that I actually found pretty appealing after dealing with overly complicated hotel experiences elsewhere. The name itself is wonderfully no-nonsense, and when you walk in, you get the sense that they’ve focused their energy on getting the basics really right rather than trying to impress you with unnecessary frills.

The rooms are clean and well-maintained – I mean, you can tell someone actually cares about keeping this place in good shape. The beds are comfortable enough that I slept well (which, honestly, is all I really ask for), and the bathrooms are updated without being flashy. You know what struck me? The staff genuinely seemed to know what they’re doing. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprise fees, and when I had a question about the area, the front desk person actually gave me useful local insights instead of just handing me a generic tourist brochure. There’s something to be said for that kind of practical hospitality.

What really won me over, though, was how the place just… works. The WiFi actually functions properly throughout the building, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a freight train, and the shower has decent water pressure – these might seem like small things, but they’re the difference between a good night’s sleep and a frustrating stay. The 7.1 rating makes perfect sense to me because this isn’t about luxury, it’s about reliability. I’ve stayed at supposedly fancier places that couldn’t nail these fundamentals. The neighborhood feels safe for walking around, and there are some solid local restaurants within a few blocks if you want to venture out for dinner. Parking wasn’t a nightmare either, which honestly surprised me. If you’re the type of traveler who values substance over style and just wants a clean, comfortable base for exploring without paying premium prices for amenities you won’t use, Y.ROAD 135 delivers exactly that. Sometimes the best hotels are the ones that simply do their job well without making a big show of it.

Well equipped, had a nice air conditioner and the private room was just right. Convenient location as well, only 30 minutes from the centre of Seoul.

The room was simple but had everything we needed. It was easy walking distance from Yangpyeong Subway Station and only 25 minute bike ride from Yeouido Han River Park!

Good for a one night stay.

It's not a hostel. There's no common room, no staff. Everything is done without contact. Room is fine for a few days.
