And honestly, the blackout curtains are some of the best I’ve encountered; you can sleep in until whenever without being woken up by street light. The bathroom’s compact but well-designed, with good water pressure and those little toiletries that don’t smell like cheap soap.

I mean, the location took me a bit to figure out at first, but once I got my bearings, it’s actually pretty smart. You’re away from the tourist chaos but still connected to everything you need. There’s this excellent Korean barbecue spot just two blocks down that locals frequent – no English menu, but the owner’s daughter helped me order and it was incredible. The subway access is straightforward once you know which exit to use (take exit 3, not the main one – trust me on this). Parking was surprisingly hassle-free too, which isn’t something I can say about most places in the area. The only minor thing is that the elevator can get a bit slow during peak hours, but honestly, that’s pretty typical. What really sold me on this place was the attention to details – like having both universal outlets and local ones, decent WiFi that actually works in the room corners, and a 24-hour front desk with staff who know the neighborhood well enough to give you real recommendations, not just tourist trap suggestions. It’s the kind of hotel where everything just works without any drama, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
