I’ll be honest, Stay #101 wasn’t exactly what I expected when I first walked up to it, but sometimes the best places are the ones that surprise you. It’s got this unassuming vibe that immediately puts you at ease – none of that stuffy hotel lobby energy where you feel like you need to whisper. The 3-star rating actually works in its favor because there’s zero pretension here, just solid comfort and people who genuinely seem to care about making your stay work.

What really won me over was how the staff actually remembers your name after day one (I mean, how rare is that these days?). The rooms are honestly better than you’d expect – they’ve clearly put thought into the details that matter, like having enough outlets near the bed and blackout curtains that actually block light. The whole place has this lived-in quality that feels more like staying at a well-organized friend’s place than some corporate chain. I noticed they keep the common areas buzzing but not chaotic, and there’s this perfect balance where you can chat with other travelers if you want to, or just mind your own business with a coffee.

You know what really impressed me though? The consistency. I’ve stayed at places with higher ratings where half the amenities don’t work or the service is hit-or-miss depending on which shift is working. Here, everything just… functions the way it should. The Wi-Fi doesn’t drop out every ten minutes, the shower pressure is actually decent, and housekeeping doesn’t wake you up at dawn or skip your room entirely. It sounds basic, but honestly, these are the things that make or break a trip when you’re trying to recharge between exploring or getting work done. The high rating makes total sense once you spend a few days there – it’s not flashy, but it delivers on what matters most to actual travelers rather than trying to impress you with marble lobbies and amenities you’ll never use.
