SNU Stay
Your Seoul Retreat
You know what really caught me off guard about SNU Stay? For a 3-star place, it honestly punches way above its weight class. I mean, when I saw that 9 rating before booking, I was a bit skeptical – you see those inflated scores all the time – but after staying there, I totally get it.
The first thing that hit me was how incredibly clean everything was. Not just surface-level clean, but that deep-clean feeling where you can tell someone actually cares about the details. The lobby has this understated vibe that’s refreshing after dealing with so many hotels that try too hard with flashy decor. It’s simple, but in a good way – sort of minimalist without being cold, if that makes sense. The staff at check-in were genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions. They actually seemed to know the area well and gave me some solid recommendations that weren’t just the typical tourist traps.
What really sold me on the place was the attention to practical stuff that most hotels overlook. The room was laid out intelligently – enough outlets where you actually need them, good lighting for reading, and honestly one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in lately. The bathroom was compact but well-designed, with decent water pressure and toiletries that didn’t smell like cheap soap. I appreciated the blackout curtains too, since I’m one of those people who can’t sleep with any light creeping in. The Wi-Fi was solid throughout my stay, which is always a gamble these days. There wasn’t any of that annoying hallway noise you get at some places either – the soundproofing was surprisingly good for this price range. Look, it’s not going to blow you away with fancy amenities or Instagram-worthy views, but SNU Stay delivers exactly what most travelers actually need: a clean, comfortable, well-run place to crash without any drama. Sometimes that’s worth more than all the bells and whistles at pricier hotels that can’t even get the basics right.

Guest Reviews
This place locates near by the metro station NSU and some bus stops. In this area, there are lots of restaurants and stores. Very practical!
We had a great time staying here. The apartment is in a local area with lots of cafes around, which was nice. It's not super touristy, but there's a metro station nearby, about an 8-minute walk away. The place is clean and has everything you need, though it's a bit smaller than it looks in the photos. Still, it was fine for the three of us. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had, which was helpful. The Wi-Fi worked well, even for video calls while I was working remotely.
