The area around the hotel has a few convenience stores (including a 7-Eleven that’s open 24/7, which saved me multiple times), and there’s this little coffee shop about two blocks away where the barista remembers your order after three visits. It’s those kinds of details that make a place feel less like a pit stop and more like a temporary home base for actually getting to know the city.
