I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Rian Hotel, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place, but sometimes you get pleasantly surprised, you know? The lobby has this understated charm that feels authentic rather than trying too hard, and the staff actually seemed genuinely happy to see guests rather than just going through the motions.

What really won me over was the attention to small details that most places this size just skip. The rooms are clean and comfortable (I mean, nothing fancy, but the beds are surprisingly good quality), and there’s this nice quiet vibe throughout the property that you don’t always get. I stayed on the third floor and barely heard any street noise, which was perfect after some long days of exploring. The bathroom wasn’t huge, but everything worked properly – hot water came fast, decent water pressure, and they actually provide proper towels instead of those thin scratchy things some budget places give you.

The breakfast situation is pretty solid too, honestly. Nothing gourmet, but they’ve got fresh coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around for hours, and the local pastries they put out are actually from a nearby bakery (I asked). You know what I appreciated most though? The front desk staff gave me real recommendations for restaurants and things to do – not just the touristy spots everyone mentions, but places where locals actually go. They even helped me figure out the best times to visit certain attractions to avoid crowds, which saved me a ton of hassle. The whole place just feels like it’s run by people who care about hospitality rather than just filling rooms. For the price point and that solid 8 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises.

  Very good location, almost all sights are within walking distance. We got a free upgrade with a huge room. New towels and water bottles every day.

  Great hotel with spacious rooms. Every morning we did get new towels. Als great roof garden and great laundry (free) facilities. Great location, easy walk to Inchadon, Myeongdong etc.

  Location 👌🏻 especially for repeat visitors who no longer need to stay in the middle of Myeongdong.
  
  Hotel team 👌🏻 friendly, relaxed, unobtrusive, and very helpful when asked. IMO perfect.
  
  Facilities 👌🏻 clean modern rooms are large for the location and price, cable TV and good wifi, also the water pressure is excellent. Free shared laundry on the top floor along with a lovely (and functional) guest lounge, and a rooftop chill space.
