Khan Residence
Your Seoul Retreat
First Impressions
Walking into Khan Residence, you immediately notice how different it feels from the typical Seoul hotel experience. This three-star property sits quietly on a side street in Gangnam-gu, and honestly, that’s part of its charm — you get all the benefits of being in one of Seoul’s most dynamic districts without the constant noise. The lobby has this understated elegance that feels more like stepping into a well-appointed apartment building than a commercial hotel, which actually makes sense once you see the rooms.
Location & Neighborhood
The location on Teheran-ro 88-gil is honestly brilliant if you know Gangnam at all. You’re close enough to walk to Samseong Station in about eight minutes, which connects you to both the subway and the COEX complex — I mean, you can’t ask for better access to shopping and entertainment. What I really appreciate is how the hotel sits just off the main thoroughfare, so you avoid the chaos of Teheran-ro itself while still being in the thick of things. Couples seem to particularly love this setup (and the ratings back that up), probably because you can easily walk to dinner spots along Bongeunsa-ro or catch a movie at the nearby CGV, then retreat to this quieter pocket of the neighborhood.
The Rooms
The rooms at Khan Residence feel more like serviced apartments than traditional hotel accommodations, which explains why guests rate this place so highly. You’ll find proper kitchenettes with full-size refrigerators — not those tiny minibars — and actual counter space where you can prep snacks or store groceries from the convenience stores downstairs. The beds are surprisingly comfortable for a three-star property, and the bathrooms are modern with decent water pressure (something you can’t always count on in Seoul). What really struck me was the attention to storage space; there are enough closets and drawers that you can actually unpack for longer stays.
Practical Perks
You know what makes Khan Residence work so well? It’s the little things that add up. The Wi-Fi is genuinely fast — not just “good enough for email” but actually reliable for video calls back home. There’s a 24-hour convenience store literally next door, and the front desk staff speaks solid English, which takes the stress out of those inevitable questions about directions or restaurant recommendations. The building itself is newer, so the elevators work smoothly and everything feels well-maintained rather than just patched up.
Why Guests Love It
After staying here, I get why Khan Residence consistently earns high ratings from travelers. It strikes this perfect balance between hotel service and apartment-style independence — you have housekeeping and a front desk when you need help, but you also have the space and amenities to live normally rather than just crash between sightseeing sessions. The Gangnam location means you’re connected to everything Seoul has to offer, but the quiet side street gives you a proper retreat at the end of long days exploring the city. For couples especially, there’s something appealing about having your own little Seoul apartment base, complete with a kitchen for morning coffee and enough space to spread out your shopping hauls from Myeongdong.
Seoul’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of traditional Korean hospitality and ultra-modern amenities, with many featuring spa services and authentic Korean cultural experiences.

Guest Reviews
The apartment was well furnished, and decorated in a stylish way. It was a very comfortable place to call home for the week I was in Tokyo.
Very clean and all necessity are available
The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Very well equiped place, the two beds situation is really convenient.
There are a 7eleven + CU just down the building which was also ideal.
Location was great, just a few mins by walk from Samseong metro station and Coex Mall if you'd like to visit.
Host was quick to respond which was helpful.
Location, location, location! You just get the easiest access to everything you want for a very competitive price. Transport, shopping, food, you name it,,,,everything is at your fingertips.
The location was perfect. The apartment was quiet, clean and very well equipped
Great location, near Coex, Samsung Trade Center, the famous Gangnam sign and the metro station. Fully furnished with all the requirements to live. Nice to have a convenient store on the ground floor. Less expensive than other hotels and the host replies very quickly. Approved!
Very good location, in the centre, close to metro and buses. Two convenience shops open 24 hours on the first floor.
Great location on walking distance from COEX conference center. Clean apartment, good wifi.
There is a small grocery store inside the building open till late. Also ATM on ground level.
The property owner provided clear indications on how to enter the building and room.
If you travel by public transportation: get off the metro at Samseong Station, it's only a 10 min walk from there.
Very convenient location, several bus stops and a subway station are in a walking distance from the property. Everything was clean, there's a kitchen with all the utensils for cooking, 2 beds, a washing machine, umbrellas, towels and everything we needed. AC works and neighbors were quiet. There's an e-lock, so we didn't have to carry keys, which is very convenient. There're also small shops downstairs for groceries. Rahmet(thanks) from Kazakhstan!
