They pointed me toward this tiny Korean-Mexican fusion place around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise, and honestly, it ended up being one of my favorite meals of the trip. The rooms themselves are pretty solid for what you’re paying – nothing fancy, but clean and functional with decent Wi-Fi that actually works (which, let’s be real, is sometimes hit or miss in smaller places like this). The walls are a bit thin though, so if you’re a light sleeper, maybe pack some earplugs. I could hear conversations from the hallway, but it wasn’t too disruptive, and things usually quieted down by 11 PM.

Location-wise, you’re literally surrounded by everything Itaewon has to offer – the good and the chaotic. Hamilton Hotel is practically next door if you need a reference point, and you can walk to Itaewon Station in maybe five minutes, even if you’re dragging luggage. The side street it’s on is actually quieter than the main drag, which I found perfect because you get easy access to all the bars, restaurants, and late-night spots without feeling like you’re sleeping above a construction site. During the day, there’s this interesting mix of expats grabbing coffee, tourists figuring out their next move, and locals just going about their business. I spent a good chunk of one morning just people-watching from the small lobby area with a cup of surprisingly decent coffee. The 7.5 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow you away, but it delivers on what it promises without any major disappointments. If you’re looking for something authentic and well-located without breaking the bank, this little yellow haven might just surprise you like it did me.
