I actually appreciated that the bathroom had a proper separation between the shower and toilet area, which isn’t always a given in Seoul hotels. Air conditioning worked perfectly during my July stay, which was crucial since summer in Seoul can be absolutely brutal.

That kind of local knowledge makes such a difference. The 8.3 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be a luxury destination, but it absolutely nails the fundamentals. Housekeeping was consistent, WiFi was solid throughout the building, and the elevators were surprisingly quick for a mid-sized hotel. I did notice some minor wear in the hallway carpeting, but nothing that affected the actual experience. If you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the city (which, let’s face it, you should), this place gives you a comfortable base without breaking the bank or making you feel like you’re roughing it.

  This hotel is good value and very convenient to get around. Plenty of space in room and having a washing machine and dryer was helpful.

  Great location: near some nice coffee spots and a walk away from Insadong, Ikseondong and Myeongdong. Subway is about a 5 min walk from the hotel.

  Stayed with my family . Located very well and close the all main markets. Was alot to see around and the location was great so we were able to walk to most areas.
