ENA Suite Hotel Namdaemun
Your Seoul Retreat
When I first walked into ENA Suite Hotel Namdaemun, I’ll be honest – the lobby caught me off guard in the best way. It’s got this sleek, modern vibe that somehow doesn’t feel sterile, which is honestly pretty rare for business hotels in this part of the city. The staff actually remembers your name after the first day, and I mean that in a genuine way, not the forced hospitality thing you get at some places.
What really sold me on this place is how they’ve nailed the suite concept without making it feel overly spacious and empty. The rooms have separate living areas that actually make sense – you know how sometimes hotel “suites” are just weirdly shaped regular rooms? Not here. I found myself using the sitting area in the evenings, which never happens when I travel. The kitchenette isn’t just for show either; they stock it with decent coffee and the mini-fridge actually gets cold enough to keep your leftovers from that incredible Korean BBQ place down the street. Speaking of location, you’re right in the heart of Seoul here – I could walk to Namdaemun Market in maybe five minutes, and trust me, you’ll want to do that early morning shopping run for souvenirs.
The thing that impressed me most was how quiet it stays despite being so central. I mean, you’re surrounded by the buzz of one of Seoul’s busiest districts, but somehow the soundproofing actually works. I’m usually pretty sensitive to street noise, and I slept through the night every time. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive – they have this system where you can request cleaning at specific times, which honestly saved my schedule more than once when I had back-to-back meetings. And you know what? The 8.7 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s not trying to be the flashiest hotel in the city, but everything just… works. The elevator’s fast, the WiFi doesn’t cut out during video calls, the shower pressure is exactly what you need after a long day walking around the markets. Even little things like having enough outlets near the bed and blackout curtains that actually block light – details that sound boring but make such a difference when you’re dealing with jet lag. If you’re looking for something reliable in this area that won’t break the bank but still feels properly comfortable, this is honestly your best bet.

Clean room
Nice place, big room, very friendly staff
1. I didn't pay attention that a swimming pool was available in the Hotel. So, a surprise for me & my wife.
2. Noted there's self-service washing machines available. Since I only stayed for 1 night, I hadn't gotten the chance to make use of it. Should be good for more nights stay.
The cleaning staff was very accommodating and the coin washing maschine was really nice.
Staff was super helpful with all our questions, held our luggage before check in and called a jumbo taxi for us (4 adults) Location was great as it was close to City Hall Station - Exit 9. It was a quick ride to main tourist attractions. 1 Bedroom Suite was super spacious and comfortable!
Large room for family, great location
The room and the bed were great
The staff were very professional and accommodating. We booked a deluxe room for 2 adults and 2 kids and it was very comfortable. The beds were made, room cleaned and housekeeping replaced our towels and slippers every day, restocking free bottles of water in the fridge as well. We had a beautiful view over the city. The hotel is conveniently located right across from a popular kulguksu restaurant and walking distance from a Nice to C U convenience store and Woori bank with a global ATM. A WOW pass machine is located in the lobby, so you can easily load foreign currency onto it at a competitive rate and then use it to pay in KRW for any Korean goods or services. We lost one of the room key cards but the staff at ENA Suite Hotel kindly waived the fee. Of course we found the card as soon as we came back home to Australia! Sorry Manager님, we will bring it back on our next visit to Korea. We will definitely stay there again :)
Excellent location with great restaurants right outside (especially the seafood pancake one) and also 2 minutes from city hall metro. Staff were very helpful.
