Glue Hotel
Your Seoul Retreat
You know what caught me off guard about Glue Hotel? The name made me think it might be some quirky boutique place trying too hard to be different, but honestly, it’s just a solid three-star spot that does everything right without making a big fuss about it. I mean, with an 8.4 rating, they’re clearly onto something – and after staying there, I can see why guests keep coming back.
The whole vibe is refreshingly unpretentious. When I walked into the lobby, there wasn’t any of that overly polished corporate hotel feel you get at chain places. Instead, it felt more like someone actually thought about making the space comfortable rather than just impressive. The staff at check-in were genuinely helpful too – not the scripted friendliness you usually get, but actually seemed to care about making sure I had what I needed. My room was clean and well-maintained (always a relief at a three-star place), and honestly, the bed was way more comfortable than I expected. You know how sometimes hotel beds are either rock-hard or you sink into them like quicksand? This one was actually just… normal, in the best way possible.
What really won me over though was the attention to small details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The shower had decent water pressure – thank god – and there were enough outlets near the bed that I didn’t have to choose between charging my phone and having a bedside lamp. The rooms aren’t huge, but they’re laid out smartly so you’re not constantly bumping into furniture. I also appreciated that they kept the common areas quiet without being sterile. You could actually have a conversation in the lobby without feeling like you were disturbing everyone, but it wasn’t so lively that you couldn’t relax with a book either. The whole place just felt balanced, if that makes sense. Sure, it’s not going to blow you away with luxury amenities or Instagram-worthy design, but sometimes you just want a place that gets the basics absolutely right – and Glue Hotel definitely delivers on that front.

Guest Reviews
I keep coming here anytime I am in Seoul! Rooms are clean and spacious and position is great!
The staff was very kind, we had a room on the 6th floor which was nice. Good location close to Dongdaemun station. You walk down the street and you arrive at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza. The area is calmer than staying in Myeondong
Friendly staff and has a bar with events.
Good location, great staff, enough amenities
Nice room. Nice location.
The room was nice. The location is also correct, as you can find transportation nearby.
Nice location, good views and comfortable room (including bathroom).
Great hotel, super clean and comfortable. Although the location is 10/15 min walk from the metro it has plenty of busses passing through the door
everything except the guy in the reception, he's attitude was rude for absolutely not reason, must have been some mental struggle, which is understandable sometimes, but I had 3 terrible days, and I really didn't want to receive that attitude.
Location was very central, easy to get around. Room was modern, perfect for a short stay. Luggage storage was convenient and helpful.
