I mean, ten minutes to the airport isn’t an exaggeration – I timed it myself when I had an early morning flight, and even with Seoul traffic, it was incredibly manageable. What I really appreciated though was being right by Hwagok station on line 5, which means you can get into central Seoul without dealing with airport shuttle schedules or expensive taxi rides. The area around Hwagok isn’t touristy at all, so you get this authentic neighborhood vibe with local restaurants and convenience stores where prices haven’t been inflated for visitors.
The room itself was surprisingly thoughtful for what you’d expect from a budget-friendly place. That “niceview” they mention in the name? Well, it’s not going to be Han River panoramas, but I actually did get a decent view of the neighborhood below, and there’s something oddly satisfying about watching regular Seoul life unfold from your window. The Netflix setup worked flawlessly – no password hunting or buffering issues like you sometimes get in smaller hotels. The beam projector was honestly the highlight though; instead of squinting at a tiny TV screen, you can actually watch movies properly projected on the wall. It’s one of those simple touches that makes you feel like someone really thought about what travelers actually want after a long day. The 9.1 rating makes complete sense once you’re there – it’s not luxury, but everything just works the way it should. The Wi-Fi was solid, the room was clean without that overpowering cleaning product smell some places have, and check-in was straightforward. I’d definitely stay here again, especially for airport convenience, and honestly, the quirky name kind of grows on you after a while.

Once you’re able to locate the hotel, it is a very convenient location close to plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. There were a few hotels just adjacent to this place so finding this exact entrance was a little tricky. The unit was very clean. Shower stall was being used as storage so was not able to use it. Would have had to use the bathroom floor. Bottled water was offered in the fridge
Everything was perfect. I stayed with my family only for one night so we could get our early morning flight. The place felt new, fresh and clean. The host quickly reply all of my questions. I recommend this place.
