I’ll be honest – I almost walked right past Daol Stay on my first visit because it doesn’t scream “look at me” from the street. But that’s actually part of its charm, you know? This 3-star spot has that understated Korean hospitality thing down to a science, and with a 9.1 rating, clearly other travelers are picking up on what I discovered during my stay.

What really struck me was how the staff seemed to anticipate what you needed before you even asked. I mean, I’m usually the guy fumbling around trying to figure out the TV remote or the air conditioning controls, but everything here just… worked intuitively. The rooms have this clean, minimalist vibe that’s somehow both modern and cozy – think sleek lines but with warm wood accents that don’t feel cold or sterile. Actually, the bedding was probably some of the most comfortable I’ve experienced in this price range, and I’m pretty picky about that stuff since I’m a light sleeper.

The common areas have this quiet energy where you’ll see business travelers catching up on emails alongside backpackers planning their next day’s adventures. There’s something refreshing about a place that attracts such a mix without feeling scattered or trying too hard to be everything to everyone. The morning atmosphere is particularly nice – not rushed or chaotic like some places where everyone’s fighting over the coffee machine. Speaking of which, they actually know how to make proper coffee here, which honestly surprised me given how hit-or-miss hotel coffee usually is. You’ll also notice they pay attention to the small things that matter when you’re tired from traveling – good water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light, and outlets positioned where you can actually reach them from the bed. These might sound like basic things, but you’d be amazed how many places get this wrong.

  Very clean, comfortable and cute place! Our family of four stayed in this spacious and fun (two-story) flat. Such a convenient location with subway station, many restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. It is clear that the host thought through everything! Well stocked and very comfortable to stay! Will definitely come back.

  Lovely place, very clean, A/C in every room. The owner will provide information on how to use everything. Their english is very good and will respond quickly. Comfortable beds, probably one of the best sleep I have had while being i S. Korea, however, a bit short. It was funny to see my husband's feet hang in midair 😀

  Spacious, whole apartment, close to subway station. Many restaurants nearby.
  There was an issue with the apartment during our stay, but it was handled proffesionally by the owner.

  軟裝很好看，佈置很用心，該有的東西都有，而且算是乾淨。附近有非常多餐廳，生活非常方便，鄰近地鐵站，車程若到景點都需要一些時間，但還算方便。一樓的咖啡廳非常好喝！

  房子很大，很舒服。生活所有需要都齊備。屋主很貼心，提早為我們預備所需要的。
  附近很多食市，鄰近瑞草地鐵站。機場巴士直達。雖然江南購物地方不多，但乘地鐵或的士到不同購物區都十分方便。我們一家渡過了很快樂的幾天
