The location near Hanti Station is actually brilliant if you know Seoul at all. You’re close enough to Gangnam’s madness but far enough away that you won’t have drunk salarymen singing karaoke under your window at 2 AM (trust me, that’s a thing). I stayed here during cherry blossom season last spring, and while everyone was fighting for overpriced hotels in the main tourist zones, I was getting solid sleep and catching the subway into the action whenever I wanted. The walk to the station is maybe five minutes – I timed it because I’m neurotic like that – and there’s this little convenience store halfway that became my daily stop for those amazing Korean face masks.

What really sold me on this place, though, was how they’ve nailed the basics without trying to be fancy about it. The Netflix thing isn’t just marketing fluff – they actually have it set up properly with a decent smart TV, not some laggy system that makes you want to throw the remote. The WiFi is legitimately fast (I was working remotely and had zero issues with video calls), and honestly, after walking around Seoul all day, collapsing into their surprisingly comfortable bed while binge-watching Korean dramas felt like exactly what I needed. The rooms aren’t huge – this is Seoul, after all – but they’re thoughtfully designed with enough storage that you’re not living out of your suitcase on the floor. I mean, there’s even a proper luggage rack, which sounds minor until you’ve stayed places that don’t have one. The shower pressure is solid too, which might seem like a random thing to mention, but anyone who’s traveled in Asia knows this can be hit or miss. The whole vibe is clean and modern without being sterile – sort of like staying in a well-organized friend’s apartment rather than a corporate hotel box. Staff spoke decent English and were genuinely helpful when I got completely lost trying to find some temple that ended up being on the opposite side of the city. Would I stay here again? Definitely. It’s one of those places that just works without any drama, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re trying to explore a massive city like Seoul.
