I walked in expecting just another decent four-star place, but honestly, this spot has something special going on that you don’t really pick up on until you’ve been there a day or two. The lobby has this understated elegance – not trying too hard, if you know what I mean – with these warm wood accents and lighting that actually makes you look good in your travel-weary state.

What really won me over was how thoughtfully everything’s designed. I mean, the room layout actually makes sense (you’d be amazed how rare that is), and there’s this perfect reading nook by the window where I ended up spending way more time than planned with my morning coffee. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting the little things right – they remembered my name after the first day, and when I mentioned I was having trouble sleeping because of jet lag, they quietly switched out the pillows without me even asking. That 9.7 rating starts making sense when you experience stuff like that. The housekeeping is impeccable too, but not in that sterile hotel way where everything feels untouchable.

Actually, what I loved most was how the place strikes this balance between being polished and feeling lived-in. The common areas have this natural flow where you might find yourself chatting with other travelers over evening tea (they do this informal thing around 6 PM that’s not officially advertised but somehow everyone finds out about). The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet – perfect if you’re looking to decompress, though you’ll want to plan your dinner spots ahead since options thin out after 9 PM. Parking was surprisingly hassle-free, which saved me the usual urban hotel headache. I’d definitely come back, and that’s honestly not something I say about most places. Sometimes you just click with a spot, and Yeon Stay was one of those for me.

Hotel in Seoul booking should be done early, especially during autumn foliage season when the city hosts internationally celebrated cultural events and festivals.

  Very big apartment, beautifully decorated. Near subway station. Very friendly staff. They always replied quickly and they accommodated us with everything we needed. Good price. Washing machine and dryer. It's so hard to find a place this nice. We had a great time there.

  모든 소품을 예쁘고 청결하고 고급지게 구비해 놓아서 하나하나 감동하며 머무는 순간 너무 기분 좋은 시간이었습니다. 실시간 메일로 계속 안부와 필요한 부분을 말씀해 주셔서 감사했습니다. 친구들과 하룻밤 잠깐 머물렀지만 긴 시간 머물고 싶은 곳이었습니다.

  내부가 되게 깔끔하고 방도 컸어요!
  최대 8인이라지만 더 들어가도 될 정도로 컸습니다
  일회용 칫솔이나 물티슈 등등 용품도 구비되어있고 간식거리도 준비되어있어서 너무 좋았습니다!

  가격 대비 넓은 거실이 있는 것이 가장 큰 장점입니다. 주방에서 취사가 가능하며 세탁기와 건조기를 이용할 수 있습니다. 주차 공간을 이용할 수 있는 것도 장점입니다. 특히 입학식이나 졸업식 등 서울대학교에서 열리는 행사 등을 위해 부모님과 함께 묵을 숙소를 찾는 분께 추천드립니다. 서울대 근처에는 마땅한 숙소가 많지 않은데, 부모님과 함께 모텔 등에서 숙박을 하는 것이 망설여지는 분들에게는 이 숙소가 좋은 대안이 되리라 생각합니다.

  숙소가 깨끗하고 물품들도 모두 갖추어 있어 편리합니다. 와인과 간식도 준비해 주시고 크리스마스 분위기에 맞게 트리도 멋지게 장식되어 있어서 기분 좋은 하루 보낼 수 있었습니다.
