The whole place has this interesting split personality going on. During the day, it’s got this serene, almost spa-like vibe with floor-to-ceiling windows everywhere letting in natural light, and the staff moves around with that quiet efficiency you’d expect from a 5-star property. But then evening hits and the energy completely shifts – probably because of the casino downstairs (yeah, there’s a full casino attached, which I didn’t realize until I stumbled across it looking for the restroom). The lobby transforms into this buzzing social space, and you’ll hear a mix of Korean, English, and Japanese conversations floating around. It’s actually pretty fascinating to people-watch from the lounge area.

What really impressed me was how they’ve maintained the property after the rebrand from W Seoul. The rooms still have that sleek, modern aesthetic – lots of dark wood and clean lines – but they’ve toned down some of the more flashy W elements. The beds are honestly incredible (I’m terrible at sleeping in hotels, but I slept like a rock here), and the bathrooms are these sprawling marble affairs with deep soaking tubs that actually fit a full-sized human being. Pro tip: if you can swing a river-view room, do it. The city view rooms face the mountains which are nice too, but there’s something mesmerizing about watching the river traffic and the bridges lit up at night. Just be aware that if you’re here during cherry blossom season in spring, the whole area gets pretty crowded with locals coming to the nearby parks, so factor in some extra travel time if you’re heading into the main city districts. The hotel runs a shuttle to Gangnam, which is handy, though the schedule can be a bit limited during off-peak hours.

  Located on a riverside hill, great view, great vibes, and lush environment. Great place for hiking, staying calm, and have a great week. Getting around with the free shuttle is great. Walking down the hill for food and shops are exciting too.

  Only stayed here for one night. Mixed feelings overall…it took us a very long time to work out where to park and where to check in. The place itself is a huge complex used for many things and we only had about an hour before we needed to leave to go to a cooking course so time was of the essence! Once we'd checked in though, the room was amazing, the view incredible, and the free beers and crisps in the minibar much appreciated! Insanely comfortable bed and we enjoyed the luxury feeling of the automatic blinds!

  수영장도 River View이고, 4층의 족욕이 가능한 곳도 환상의 View였습니다.
  호텔 주변을 산책하여도 아주 좋아요. 보통 서울은 4월 10일즈음 벚꽃이 만개하는데, 올해는 날씨가 너무 더워서 벚꽃의 절정은 지났지만, 라일락나무 배롱나무 철쭉도 피고, 참 좋아요. 한강도 산책하다 보면 예쁘게 보여요.
  그리고, 호텔 직원들도 친절하였으며, 잘 도와 주셔서 감사합니다.
