Four Seasons Hotel Seoul
Your Seoul Retreat
When I first walked into the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, honestly, I wasn’t prepared for how the place would completely shift my perspective on what luxury means in South Korea. You know what struck me immediately? The way they’ve managed to blend that signature Four Seasons elegance with distinctly Korean touches – and I mean subtle ones, not the over-the-top cultural theming you sometimes see in international hotels.
The location in Seoul is absolutely killer, though you might not realize it from the street level. I mean, Seoul’s such a vertical city that sometimes the best spots are hidden in plain sight. What I loved about staying here was how quickly you could dive into different neighborhoods – one morning I walked to Myeongdong for some serious shopping and street food (those hotteok vendors know what they’re doing), and another day I found myself wandering through the more traditional areas without needing to plan some elaborate expedition. The staff actually gave me these hand-drawn little maps with their personal recommendations, which felt way more genuine than the usual tourist brochures.
The rooms – well, they’re what you’d expect from a property with a 9.3 rating, but there were these thoughtful details that caught me off guard. The bathroom amenities included some Korean skincare brands I’d been wanting to try, and the minibar had local snacks alongside the usual overpriced nuts and chocolate. Actually, the view situation varies quite a bit depending on which side you’re on, so it’s worth asking when you book. I got lucky with a room facing the mountains on a clear day, but my friend who stayed there a month later had more of a cityscape view – still gorgeous, just different. The beds are incredibly comfortable, though I did notice the rooms can get a bit warm in summer despite the excellent air conditioning (maybe it’s just me, but I always run hot in Korean hotels for some reason). What really impressed me was how quiet everything stayed, even during the busy evening hours when the elevators were constantly moving and the lobby was buzzing with guests heading out for dinner. Check-in was smooth as silk, and they handled my late arrival without any fuss – sometimes it’s the simple things that make all the difference when you’re jet-lagged and just want to collapse somewhere beautiful.
The luxury concierge service in Seoul offers personalized access to traditional Korean cooking classes, premium kimchi tastings, and VIP cultural events in this dynamic blend of ancient traditions and cutting-edge technology.

Guest Reviews
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. It was also in a good location to many attractions we visited.
The breakfast was perfect, lots of choices, staff well trained dedicated. The concierge team was 10/10, helped me on any requests without saying “No” to anything eventhough I knew some requests were not due them they assisted me perfectly. I was very happy about the stay one of the best hotels I have stayed at.
Excellent room, spacious, very well decorated, very nice view from the 22nd floor, well equipped, luxurious bathtab and shower, double washbasins, well isolated. The common spaces of the hotel are very well decorated, including the bars and restaus. The buffet breakfast is very rich and delicious. The staff is very professional and effective. The location is great close to the royal palace, the museum of modern art and a metro station. Nice small restaus around. An excellent hotel.
Great location, exceptional staff, beautiful property… this Four Seasons hits on all the important elements that we look for in a hotel!
Really good location, staff is friendly. Room is very nice and clean. Spacious. No complaints
Every thing was perfect. The location, the design of the building, the kind and welcoming staff.
And that breakfast was THE BEST I have ever had. If you are staying there please make sure you try it.
The room was spacious, the interior well thought out, the bathroom, shower & toilet were laid out smartly and the Diptique toiletries were a nice touch. I like how the small details like the floor mat stays in place when you open the shower door, the flush is automatic when you stand up and the amenities are sustainably crafted. The eye masks were a welcome & unexpected treat! The food in the restaurants we tried were very good and the service of the staff from the front desk to the concierge to the food outlets were exceptional. And the fitness center was just WOW!
Breakfasts were great- the choice of food was amazing.
