You know what caught me off guard about Urban Space Seolleung? It’s actually way more polished than I expected for a 3-star place. I mean, when you walk into the lobby, there’s this clean, minimalist vibe that feels almost boutique-ish – definitely not your typical mid-range hotel setup. The staff at check-in were genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions, which honestly made a difference after a long flight into Incheon.

The location is pretty smart if you’re doing business in Gangnam or just want to be near all that action without paying Gangnam prices. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Seolleung Station, which connects you to Line 2 and the Bundang line – super convenient for getting around Seoul without dealing with taxis in traffic. There’s this whole business district vibe during the day with all these sleek office buildings, but it gets surprisingly quiet at night, which I actually loved for sleeping. The nearby COEX area is close enough that you can easily walk over for shopping or grab dinner at one of those massive food courts, but far enough that you’re not dealing with tourist crowds right outside your door.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to punch above their weight class – I’ve stayed at 4-star places that felt more generic than this. The rooms aren’t huge (this is Seoul, after all), but they’re thoughtfully designed with decent soundproofing and these really comfortable beds. The bathroom situation is solid too, with a proper shower setup that actually has good water pressure. I was there during cherry blossom season and honestly, the whole area gets pretty busy then, but the hotel itself maintained this calm atmosphere. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you spend a night or two there – it’s one of those places that just works without any drama or unpleasant surprises. If you’re looking for something reliable in this part of town that won’t break the bank but still feels like you’re treating yourself decently, this is honestly a pretty solid choice.
