Wangsimni Station is right there, which means you can reach Myeongdong in about 15 minutes or Gangnam in 20. I mean, try finding that kind of accessibility in Hongdae for this price. The neighborhood comes alive in the evenings with street food vendors and small eateries that most tourists never discover.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully designed — sort of like a well-organized studio apartment back home. Everything has its place, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable for a mid-range property. The bathroom is small (this is Seoul, after all), but it’s spotless and modern with good water pressure. What really impressed me was the attention to detail — proper blackout curtains, decent Wi-Fi, and enough outlets for all your devices. The air conditioning actually works well too, which isn’t always a given in smaller Seoul hotels.

Local Insights

One thing that sets this place apart is how the staff genuinely seems to care about your experience. They’re not just going through the motions — they’ll actually give you solid recommendations for nearby spots. There’s a fantastic Korean BBQ place about three minutes’ walk away that they pointed me toward, and I ended up going back twice. The morning coffee shop downstairs opens early, which saved me more than once when I needed caffeine before exploring. You’ll also find a convenience store practically next door, because Korea does convenience better than anywhere else.

  Sometimes it just turns out really well and you feel happy.
  We found this stay with an awesome nice landlord who is really keen that your stay should be problem-free.
  A fully equipped, large, bright and nice apartment with extra everything.
  Quite honestly, everything that is at home is in this apartment from the first second and is included.
  Bed sheets, towels, AC, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, kitchen, toilet paper, shower gel, we even found water bottles in the fridge upon arrival…We didn't miss anything .
  You sleep like a baby, the apartment is completely undisturbed from traffic and other noises normally found in big cities, must be quite unique in my experience in a big city
  Perfect location, just two-three (2-3) minutes to the subway, green line 2 (Circle Line) which is the best line for tourists and a very good starting point for other lines.
  Will definitely try to book this apartment on my next stay in Seoul.
