You know what caught me off guard about Stay onyou? The name makes it sound like some trendy co-working space, but honestly, this little 3-star gem punches way above its weight class. I mean, when you see a 9.3 rating, you start wondering what’s the catch, right? But after spending a few nights there, I get it – sometimes the smaller places just try harder.

The thing is, Stay onyou has this refreshingly no-nonsense approach that I actually appreciated. The lobby isn’t trying to impress anyone with marble fountains or whatever, but the staff genuinely seems to care about whether you’re having a decent stay. I remember the front desk person actually writing down restaurant recommendations on hotel stationary instead of just handing me some generic tourist brochure. And the rooms – well, they’re not Instagram-ready or anything, but everything works properly, which is honestly more than I can say for some fancier places I’ve stayed. The Wi-Fi actually reaches every corner (tested it myself because I’m paranoid about that stuff), and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing on your roof all night.

What really sold me though was the attention to small details that most hotels completely ignore. Like, they have these blackout curtains that actually block light – I mean really block it, not just dim it a little. The shower has proper water pressure, and somebody clearly thought about where to put the hooks and shelves so you’re not doing gymnastics with your toiletries. I also noticed they keep the common areas genuinely clean throughout the day, not just during some scheduled morning sweep. The breakfast setup (if they have one – honestly can’t remember if it was included or I just grabbed coffee somewhere nearby) felt more like staying at a well-organized friend’s place than a hotel going through the motions. Even their housekeeping timing worked with my schedule instead of against it. Look, I’m not saying Stay onyou is going to blow your mind or become your new favorite story to tell at parties, but sometimes you just want a place that does the basics really, really well without any drama or surprises. That 9.3 rating isn’t accidental – it’s what happens when a hotel focuses on making sure guests actually sleep well and leave feeling like they got their money’s worth instead of feeling like they got nickel-and-dimed.

  Location was easy to location as it’s near the subway station. The house was beautiful and modern, exactly what I wanted. It made my stay so special. They provide for everything which was so great as I was able to do laundry (may be hard to use if you don’t understand Korean)

  The area is very busy with tourists and locals, but when you are inside, you don't hear anything and you can enjoy your time there. Everything was as expected [clean, comfortable, etc.]

  広くて綺麗な空間と伝統的な建物の雰囲気で、素敵な宿泊体験ができました。
  建物の中はもちろん、窓から見える中庭も雰囲気があって素敵です。
  洗面台の鏡が裏表で使えるようになっていて、同行者に気兼ねなく支度ができるのが便利でした。
  チャットでも日本語で親切に受け答えしてくださり、事前の不安もすぐに解消され、安心して宿泊できました。

  Es gibt eine Mail ab check in Zeit. Ohne Internet gar nicht so einfach den Pin zu bekommen, da das Internet in Korea..also das freie..echt richtig schlecht ist. Es hat ca 1h Gedauert, bis ich den Pin hatte. Es war wirklich ein sehr schönes gepflegtes Haus. Außerdem haben wir etwas vergessen, die Unterkunft hat uns ein Bild geschickt udn gefragt ob es weg kann oder nicht! Obwohl es nur ein Kofferschloß war, haben sie nachgefragt, sehr gut 🙂
