Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name 318 Stay, I wasn’t expecting much. It sounds pretty generic, right? But you know what really caught my attention? That 9.1 rating. I mean, you don’t get scores like that without doing something seriously right, especially as a 3-star property where people’s expectations can be all over the place.

What actually impressed me most was how they’ve managed to nail all the little things that bigger hotels somehow mess up. The check-in process was surprisingly smooth – no standing around for twenty minutes while they “find your reservation” or whatever. And honestly, the rooms have this clean, minimalist vibe that feels way more expensive than what you’re paying. I’m talking about proper blackout curtains (thank god), decent water pressure, and – this might sound weird but hear me out – really good WiFi throughout the entire building. You know how frustrating it is when you’re trying to work from your room and the connection keeps cutting out? None of that here.

The staff genuinely seems to care, which is refreshing. I had this small issue with the air conditioning making this weird clicking noise, and instead of just saying “we’ll look into it,” they actually moved me to a different room within like fifteen minutes. No big production, no attitude – just problem solved. That kind of response tells you everything about how a place is run. I also noticed they keep the common areas really well maintained, and there’s this attention to cleanliness that you notice right away. The hallways don’t have that stale hotel smell, the elevators work properly, and honestly, even the ice machines were actually stocked with ice (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case). For a 3-star spot, they’re definitely punching above their weight – I’ve stayed at supposedly fancier places that couldn’t get these basics right. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you experience how they handle the fundamentals without any fuss or drama.

  We really liked the location of the apartment in the heart of Seoul and we loved the host!
  She was so lovely and willing to help, she is a very sweet person and took care of all our needs.
  We also really loved the breakfast she prepared with so much love every morning at the rooftop.
  The breakfast had everything we needed, it was the perfect stay.
  If we ever comeback to Seoul, we will definitely stay here again.

  I had a small room but was good for a 2 night stay and solo traveller. Close to Myeondong markets but far enough away from any noise for that decent sleep. Amy was lovely.
  Washing machine in room was great and to be able to clean some clothes after a week was nice

  The room is small but well furnished. Bathroom is cramped. It's great for the price though.

  From Myeong-dong station exit 1, turn to the alley where there is eMart24 at the corner (if you see Daiso, you've gone too far), keep walking uphill until you see steps, but don't go up the steps, turn right, follow the curve, and the hotel is on the right. We arrived early, and were given a code for the front door a few days prior. That's about 10 minutes manageable uphill walk from Exit 1 since I wasn't familiar with the area.
  Dropped off bags, and went out to get lunch.
  Room was small, commensurate with the rate and the city. Washing machine in the room helped tremendously. Didn't have time for breakfast because we checked out early to catch KTX, but I grabbed a couple of eggs.
