The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually gives a damn about the guest experience, which sounds simple but trust me, it’s rarer than you’d think.

The staff here genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs, and I mean that in the best possible way. Check-in was smooth without being rushed, and they actually took the time to explain things about the area that I wouldn’t have figured out on my own. The rooms themselves are clean and thoughtfully arranged – not massive, but everything you need is there and placed where it makes sense. The beds are surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the bathrooms are well-maintained with decent water pressure, which honestly can make or break a stay for me. What really caught my attention was how quiet it stays at night – you can actually get proper sleep here, even if you’re someone who usually struggles with hotel noise.

I’ll be straight with you though – this isn’t the kind of place with flashy amenities or Instagram-worthy lobbies. What it has instead is something much better: consistency and genuine hospitality. The common areas feel lived-in rather than sterile, and there’s always someone around if you need help with directions or recommendations. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive, and they clearly pay attention to details that bigger chains often miss. After staying here, that 9.3 rating makes complete sense – it’s the kind of score you only get when people leave feeling like they were actually taken care of, not just processed through a system. If you’re looking for a place where you can settle in and feel comfortable rather than constantly impressed, this is definitely worth considering.

  This is the best homestay I've ever stayed in Seoul. It's located near Exit 7 of Hongdae Station. It's convenient for transportation. There are many delicious restaurants around and there are 24h convenience stores. The room was spacious and clean with a light scent, the bed was very big and comfortable, the living room had a dining table for dinner, and the refrigerator for drinks. The host was a very kind sister who prepared ramen for us when we checked in and patiently answered any questions. They even gave us masks when we left. Thank you to the owner for making our stay so enjoyable.
