You know what, when I first walked into Rosana Hotel, I wasn’t expecting much – I mean, it’s a solid 3-star place with decent reviews, but sometimes those can be misleading. Honestly though, I was pleasantly surprised by how much character this place actually has. The lobby has this lived-in feel that’s way more welcoming than those sterile chain hotels you usually encounter. The staff at check-in were genuinely friendly (not that forced hospitality thing), and they actually remembered my name the next morning, which doesn’t happen often anymore.

The rooms are exactly what you’d expect for a mid-range spot – clean, functional, nothing fancy but everything works properly. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night; you can tell they’ve put some thought into soundproofing because I barely heard any hallway noise or street sounds. The beds are actually comfortable too – not too soft, not too firm, just that sweet spot where you don’t wake up with a crick in your neck. The bathrooms are a bit on the smaller side, but the water pressure is excellent and the hot water doesn’t run out halfway through your shower (trust me, I’ve been burned by that before). I did notice the WiFi can be a bit spotty in some corners of the building, but it’s reliable enough for checking emails and scrolling social media.

What really sets this place apart is the little details that show someone cares about the guest experience. The housekeeping staff does this thing where they fold your towels into these neat little shapes – nothing over the top, just thoughtful touches that make you feel like they’re paying attention. There’s also this small seating area near the front desk where you can grab complimentary coffee in the mornings, and it’s actually good coffee, not that watery stuff you sometimes get. The location works well if you don’t mind a short walk to get to the main action – it’s quiet enough that you can get a good night’s sleep but close enough that you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere. Parking can be a bit tight during busy periods, but the front desk usually has good suggestions for nearby spots. Overall, for the price point and that 7.9 rating, Rosana Hotel delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises.

  The room was wide with three single bed and the location was perfect for us. 24 hours check-in/out service is convenient as we had to check in very late and check out early morning. Staff was very kind and supportive.

  Fantastic location right by beautiful Seokchon Lake and Lotte World,Lotte World Mall and Tower. So many food places really close by including Starbucks, chicken and beer, Korean food . Bed is so comfortable (for me) it is Korean style hard mattress which is awesome.Service overall was good and helpful and they are happy to look after my bags both before check in and after check out. Hotel is modern and clean and western style and has an on site restaurant that serves breakfast only for W15,000 ( or W13,000.00 if you pre book at reception) which seems good value compared to breakfast at other restaurants. You could easily spend W20,000.00 or more a head elsewhere. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again.

  The hotel was an affordable option in the Jamsil area, about a 10 to 15mins walk from Lotte World Adventure. Even though it was near tourist attractions, the area felt quite local. It was diagonally opposite Seokchon Lake and had a scenic view of the Lotte World Tower. It was also a popular spot for residents in the area to exercise and hang out. Just minutes from the hotel are a few convenience stores which are good to grab snacks on the way out and way back. The room was compact but comfortable and the hotel reception was helpful.

  I really liked the location of the hotel, also the room was big and comfortable, and the air conditioning was nice and cold just how I like it, the staff were very helpful, and could speak english so I have not had any trouble with checking in or checking out, the location is a a few steps to lotte mall, and there is a huge park and lake, around the block
