The subway connections are solid too (Hongik University station is your friend here), so you can easily get anywhere in Seoul, but honestly, I found myself wanting to stay in the area more than I expected. The nights are surprisingly quiet for Seoul, which meant I actually slept well – something that’s not always guaranteed in this city. It’s one of those stays where you finish packing and immediately start thinking about when you can come back.
