Orbit – For foreigners only Overview
Honestly, when I first heard about Orbit – For foreigners only, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect – I mean, the name pretty much says it all, right? But you know what, sometimes these specialized places end up being exactly what you need when you’re navigating a new city as an outsider. The hotel has this refreshingly straightforward approach that I actually found pretty comforting after dealing with some of the usual tourist traps around town.
What really struck me about this place is how they’ve basically streamlined everything for international visitors. The staff – and I’m talking everyone from the front desk to housekeeping – speaks solid English, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re tired and just want to sort out your room without playing charades. They get the little things that matter to travelers, like having proper outlets for different plug types and not looking at you like you’re crazy when you ask about late check-out because of flight times. The rooms are clean and functional in that no-nonsense way that a solid 3-star should be, and while it’s not going to win any design awards, everything works the way it’s supposed to. The Wi-Fi is actually decent (I managed video calls without wanting to throw my laptop out the window), and the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night.
Here’s the thing though – this isn’t one of those places where you’re going to hang out in the lobby or make friends at the bar, because, well, there really isn’t much of a scene like that. It’s more of a base camp situation, which depending on what you’re looking for, could be perfect or completely wrong for you. The location puts you close enough to get around easily, but you’re not exactly in the thick of things if that’s what you’re after. I’d say it’s ideal for business travelers or people who want a reliable place to crash without all the fuss – the kind of spot where you can count on hot water, clean towels, and staff who understand that sometimes you just need straightforward answers about how to get to the airport at 5 AM. That 8-point rating makes sense to me because while it’s not fancy, it delivers on what it promises without any unpleasant surprises.
Hotel in Seoul booking should be done early, especially during autumn foliage season when the city hosts internationally celebrated cultural events and festivals.

Location. Comfortability. It was great that they helped me deliver my pocket wifi free of charge. Staff replied to my messages pretty quickly.
Apparently, I also received a room upgrade free of charge.Abbey from United Kingdom (7/10)
Location was excellent and host was really responsive.
Clarissa from Haiti (8/10)
The location was ideal especially with connection to airport line and Yeonnam-dong / Hongdae areas. Self-checkin was convenient if you are coming in late hours. You get want you paid for especially given the location.
Cassandre from France (9/10)
The location was 10/10. Just off the main road by Hongik univ metro station so it was quiet at night but only a literal 1 minute walk to access to hustle and bustle so it was perfect.
The room was small but very adequate for our needs. The beds were comfy, the aircon a much needed reprieve from the heat, and there was even space for a nice vanity table and fridge!
The bathroom was very big which I appreciated as with wet rooms, I like the toilets to be far from the shower if possible!
We never met any employee face to face but they were very responsive and helpful on kakao talk 😊Marra from Philippines (8/10)
The location is very good. It is close to the station and is close to a park. Also, it is far away from the noisy nightlife of Hongdae (nightlife is located on the other side of the station) There are restaurants, shops, coffee shops, convenient stores and even exchange money changers nearby. We also appreciate the host for being responsive.
Krittaporn from Thailand (9/10)
Very well responsive staff, cozy and clean room.
Sarinya from Thailand (8/10)
The location was phenomenal as it was very close to several tourist locations such as Hongdae street, and moreover, it is only about a 4-5 minutes walk to Hongik University train station which directly connects to Incheon Airport, allowing you swift travel even with suitcases. The staff was very helpful and responsive on contact and there was a little communal kitchen with several facilities such as a free water dispenser with cold and hot water, a microwave and even an iron. In addition, this accommodation is perfect for people who prefer a little less social interaction face-to-face as everything throughout our stay was handled with quick messages to the owner who responds exceptionally fast.
