Your Seoul Retreat
First Impressions
I’ll be honest — the name Open event Jeong Stay, Seoul Jamsil Lotte World L Tower Olympic Park kspo Asan Hospital Cheonho Dunchon Station 2 people 3 people 4 people New Building is quite a mouthful, but don’t let that throw you off. This three-star property in Gangdong-gu actually surprised me with how well-thought-out everything was. The building really is new, and you can tell — everything feels fresh and clean, from the lobby to the hallways.
Location That Actually Works
Here’s what I love about staying in this part of Seoul — you’re close enough to all the action but far enough away to breathe a little. Cheonho Station is literally a short walk away, which means you can hop on the subway and be at Gangnam or Myeongdong in about 30 minutes. The Olympic Park is right there too, and honestly, if you’re into morning jogs or just want some green space, it’s perfect. I mean, how many hotels can say they’re walking distance from both a major subway line and one of Seoul’s best parks?
The Room Experience
The room itself feels more like a modern Korean apartment than a typical hotel setup. There’s actually a proper kitchen area — not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation, but real counter space and cooking facilities. This is huge if you’re staying for more than a couple nights or traveling with family. The space works well whether you’re two people or up to four, though I’d say it’s most comfortable with three max. The beds are firm (very Korean style), and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showerheads that actually works properly.
Practical Perks
You know what’s rare in Seoul? Free parking. This place has it, and if you’re planning to rent a car or somehow have access to one, that’s a game-changer. Parking in Seoul can cost more per day than some hotel rooms, so this alone saves you serious money. The building also has decent wifi throughout — I never had issues working from the room or common areas. There’s no fancy spa or multiple dining options, but for a three-star place, they’ve focused on getting the basics absolutely right.
Why Guests Love It
The location rating of 9.0 from recent guests isn’t just hype — couples especially seem to get it. There’s something nice about being in a quieter neighborhood while still having easy access to everything Seoul offers. The Lotte World Tower area has really developed over the past few years, so you’ve got shopping and dining options nearby without the chaos of central Seoul. Plus, the value proposition is solid — you’re getting apartment-style space and amenities at hotel prices, which is pretty rare in this city.
