You’re walking distance from Dongdaemun Design Plaza (though honestly, you’ll probably take the subway anyway because Seoul blocks are deceptively long), but you’re also surrounded by all these little workshops and late-night eateries that locals actually frequent. I spent way too much time wandering around the neighborhood at odd hours – there’s something almost cinematic about the narrow streets with their mix of neon signs and old concrete buildings. The residence itself keeps things pretty quiet though, which I appreciated after long days exploring Seoul.
