Nine Tree Premier Hotel Myeongdong 2
Your Seoul Retreat
I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Nine Tree Premier Hotel Myeongdong 2, I wasn’t expecting much from what sounds like a sequel hotel, you know? But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe without being sterile, and the staff seemed genuinely happy to see guests rather than just going through the motions. What really caught my attention was how quiet it felt despite being right in the thick of things – I mean, you’re literally surrounded by some of the busiest shopping and street food action in Seoul, but somehow the hotel manages to feel like a calm retreat.
The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully designed rather than just pretty. Sure, they’re not huge (this is Seoul, after all), but everything has its place and the beds are actually comfortable – not just hotel-room acceptable, but genuinely good sleep comfortable. I loved the bathroom setup with the separate shower area, and honestly, the water pressure was better than my apartment back home. The real winner though is how they’ve positioned everything – you can pop downstairs and be elbow-deep in Korean skincare shopping or hunting down the perfect hotteok in about thirty seconds, but when you want to escape the crowds, you’re not dealing with street noise keeping you awake at 2 AM.
What sets this place apart from other Myeongdong hotels I’ve stayed at is the attention to those little details that matter when you’re actually living out of a suitcase for a few days. The elevators are fast (trust me, this matters when you’re juggling shopping bags and tired feet), there’s decent space to spread out your stuff without everything ending up on the floor, and the WiFi doesn’t mysteriously disappear every time more than five people try to use it. The breakfast situation is solid too – not trying to be everything to everyone, just doing a good job with what they offer. I particularly appreciated that they seem to understand their clientele is probably going to be out exploring until late and might want to sleep in a bit. You know what really sealed the deal for me though? The location puts you close enough to walk to Namdaemun Market when Myeongdong gets too touristy, and you’re still within easy reach of proper subway connections when you want to venture further out into the city.

Guest Reviews
The location and the facility like daily tour machine, airport bus schedule
The location was ideal for us since we have a 1-year-old traveling with us. It was nice and quiet. There were a lot of coffee shops, cafe, and restaurants nearby with a cheaper price compared to myeongdong area. It was about a 10-min walk from our hotel to myeongdong night market. The staff in the front desk was very nice and approachable and they can converse in English, so communication was not an issue.
the cleanliness. Check in and check out are efficient. The staff are friendly and is able to address whatever concerns we like. I like how the hotel provides weighing scale for luggages and laundry machines are accessible.
Location perfect, room is modern. Staff “Ben” was super duper nice and kind when we were struggling with a lot of luggages. Super nice staffs!!!
My son had an allergic reaction and your amazing staff ( Alex and Andrew) were very quick to help. They even called the hospital directly to check they can actually help which was so so helpful and booked my taxi. So very grateful to them and they are a credit to the hotel!! What amazing young men.
Strategic location with accessible to multiple train lines.
Everything was just perfect, we would be returning for sure
Great location, impressively large room, comfy beds, nice touch to have the sofa and sitting area.
Everything but the most important the staff services and kindness
Good location and the convenience store downstairs (GS25) is very useful
