The subway connections are solid – Hoehyeon Station is right there, so getting anywhere in the city is pretty straightforward. I actually ended up extending my stay an extra two nights because I got so comfortable with the routine of grabbing fresh hotteok from the market vendors in the morning and having a proper kitchen to cook dinner when I got tired of restaurant hopping. The building itself feels secure without being stuffy, and the check-in process was refreshingly smooth – no lengthy forms or pushy upselling. It’s got that reliable, no-nonsense vibe that makes you feel like you’re staying somewhere locals would actually choose, not just another tourist trap with inflated prices and fancy lobby marble.
