Niagara Hotel
Your Seoul Retreat
Look, I’ll be honest with you – when I first pulled up to the Niagara Hotel, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes those mid-range spots surprise you, and this one actually did in a few ways. The building itself has this sort of classic, no-nonsense vibe that feels authentic rather than trying too hard to impress. I mean, it’s not going to win any architectural awards, but there’s something refreshingly straightforward about it that I actually appreciated after staying at too many places that are all flash and no substance.
The rooms are honestly what you’d expect for the rating – clean, functional, nothing fancy but everything works. The beds are surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the water pressure in the shower was actually better than some 4-star places I’ve stayed at recently. What I really liked was how quiet it was at night – you know how some hotels have paper-thin walls where you hear every conversation in the hallway? Not here. I got solid sleep, which for me is basically the make-or-break factor for any hotel stay. The staff at check-in was genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions but actually seemed to care about making sure I had what I needed.
Here’s the thing though – and this might matter depending on what you’re looking for – the amenities are pretty basic. There’s no fancy spa or rooftop bar or anything like that. But honestly, I found that kind of refreshing. Sometimes you just want a good, solid place to crash without all the bells and whistles driving up the price. The location worked well for what I needed, with decent access to local spots without being right in the chaos of the main tourist areas. Parking was straightforward, which anyone who’s driven around busy hotel districts will appreciate. The 7.1 rating makes sense to me – it’s not going to blow you away, but it delivers on the basics really well. If you’re someone who values honest comfort over Instagram-worthy amenities, and you don’t want to spend a fortune just to have a clean bed and a hot shower, this place actually hits that sweet spot pretty well.

Guest Reviews

Comfortable and nice views of the city skyline when it isn’t cloudy. We stayed for 5 days and it worked well enough.
Very clean and nice.
the location is good, and the room offered allows me to see Seoul World Cup Stadium and can see Han River!
Nice view
Big room and river view.
Airport Limousine bus stop in front of hotel cost 17k which is convenient upon arrival at Incheon airport.
We liked the location, because it’s quiet and nearby there’s metro station, bus stop, some beauty shops. And the view from our room.
the view was great and the room was spacious.
new towels were delivered each day.
Although I booked without breakfast, when I asked for additional breakfast, I was told that the hotel no longer has that service. Fortunately, there are enough stores near the hotel to have breakfast. The hotel is not very close to the center, but has good connectivity by subway and bus. A plus is that it has a bus stop to and from the airport a few meters from the hotel (17,000 won). I had a room with river view, very nice.
