Mirae_stay 33 New Open [2 Queen+1 S-Single]
Your Seoul Retreat
I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Mirae_stay 33 New Open [2 Queen+1 S-Single], I thought it was some kind of booking code error. But you know what? Sometimes the most awkwardly named places turn out to be hidden gems, and this 4-star spot really surprised me. The moment I walked into the lobby, I could tell this was one of those newer properties where they actually put thought into the design instead of just slapping together generic hotel furniture and calling it a day.
The room setup is honestly pretty clever – having two queen beds plus a single is perfect if you’re traveling with that one friend who snores (we all have one), or if you’ve got teenagers who need their own space but you don’t want to book separate rooms. The queens are actually comfortable, not those rock-hard mattresses you sometimes get at newer places, and the linens feel expensive. I mean, I’m no thread count expert, but you can tell when sheets are cheap, and these definitely aren’t. The single bed isn’t just an afterthought either – it’s got its own little reading light and side table, so nobody feels like they got the short end of the stick. What really impressed me was how they managed to fit everything without making the room feel cramped. There’s actually space to open your suitcase without having to close the bathroom door.
The staff here really knows what they’re doing, which honestly makes sense given that 8.5 rating. Check-in was smooth – no standing around while they figure out their computer system or try to upsell you on room upgrades you don’t need. The front desk person actually gave me useful local tips without me having to ask, which is always a good sign. Little things matter too, like how the elevators are quiet (seriously, why do some hotels have elevators that sound like they’re powered by angry hamsters?), and the hallways don’t smell like cleaning chemicals mixed with mystery odors. The WiFi actually works throughout the building, including in the elevator, which is surprisingly rare. I did notice the walls are pretty solid – couldn’t hear much from neighboring rooms, which is huge if you’re a light sleeper like me. The only minor thing is that the air conditioning unit makes this tiny clicking sound every few minutes, but honestly, I got used to it by the second night. For the quality you’re getting and that rating, this place delivers on comfort without any of the pretentious attitude you sometimes get at boutique properties.

Guest Reviews
