LACOZi STAY , Seoul
Your Seoul Retreat
I’ll be honest β when I first walked into LACOZi STAY, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place, but this little gem completely changed my perspective on what mid-range accommodation can be in Seoul. The lobby has this surprisingly modern, minimalist vibe that feels way more upscale than the star rating suggests, and honestly, the staff’s attention to detail reminded me more of boutique hotels I’ve stayed at that cost twice as much.
What really struck me about this place is how they’ve managed to capture that perfect balance between Korean efficiency and genuine warmth. You know how some hotels feel sterile? This isn’t that at all. The rooms have these thoughtful touches β I mean, they actually provide proper hangers (not those useless attached ones), and the bathroom amenities were surprisingly decent quality. The beds are firm in that satisfying Korean way, and I actually slept better here than at some of the fancier places I’ve tried in Seoul. The soundproofing is solid too, which matters when you’re dealing with the city’s energy outside your windows. I stayed during cherry blossom season when everything’s busier, and I could barely hear the street noise.
Location-wise, you’re really well positioned to explore different neighborhoods without being stuck in the tourist bubble β though I won’t lie, it’s not right on top of a subway entrance, so factor in a short walk. The area has that authentic Seoul residential feel where you’ll find incredible local restaurants (there’s this tiny place around the corner that does amazing kimchi jjigae), and you’re close enough to major districts without paying those premium location prices. The front desk folks were genuinely helpful with directions and recommendations, not just handing out generic tourist maps. With an 8.8 rating, I can see why people keep coming back β it’s one of those places that exceeds expectations without trying too hard, and in a city like Seoul where accommodation can either be incredibly expensive or disappointingly basic, LACOZi STAY hits that sweet spot of quality and value that’s honestly pretty rare.
Exploring Seoul offers visitors an unforgettable journey through South Korea’s dynamic capital, from its historic Joseon palaces to its futuristic districts and world-renowned Korean entertainment culture.

would be perfect if you include breakfast for stay

It was very comfortable, it would be better if the couch would be a little bit bigger π
But for the rest the hotel is perfect, there is a lot of coffee shops everywhere and a 24h convenient store right next to it
And the most important - olive young in 2 minutes by walk π
Very comfortable room with the dryers and super cool washing machine in the room π
