Check-in was smooth (no endless upselling pitches, thank goodness), and they had this quiet efficiency that made everything feel effortless. The rooms are thoughtfully designed too – nothing groundbreaking, but everything you need is exactly where you’d expect it to be. The beds are actually comfortable, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong, and the bathrooms have proper water pressure and lighting that doesn’t make you look like you’re in a horror movie.

I’ll be honest, the real charm of this place reveals itself over a few days rather than hitting you immediately. It’s in those small moments – like how housekeeping remembers exactly how you like your towels arranged, or the way the concierge gives you directions that actually make sense instead of just pointing vaguely down the street. The breakfast setup (when I was there in spring) had this nice variety without being overwhelming, and they make a decent coffee which is honestly half the battle won right there. One thing that impressed me was how quiet the place stays even when it’s busy – the soundproofing is clearly well thought out, so you’re not dealing with hallway conversations at midnight or elevator dings every five minutes. If I had to nitpick, the WiFi could be a touch faster in some areas, but it’s reliable enough for work calls and streaming. The location puts you within easy reach of key spots without the chaos of being right in the thick of tourist central, which I found perfect for actually getting some rest between exploring. It’s the kind of hotel that grows on you – solid, dependable, and run by people who clearly know what they’re doing.

  There is a bus stop for airport limousine bus right in front of the hotel! Ticket exchange and bus station for Seoul City Tour Bus is also less than 100m away from the hotel. Subway is also walking distance. There’s a convenience store right beside the hotel. This hotel has the most accessible location. Staff (front desk and housekeeping) are very friendly too. We never missed our daily supply of bottled water.

  Location was so close to the palace that it is walkable. Hotel offer hanbok rental at competitive prices. Free entry to palace with hanbok. Hotel offer free rental of bicycle to explore the area.

  Hotel was in excellent location, however needs a little TLC, (Tender Loving Care) it needs to be brought up to
  a standard that guests would be happy with. You can see that the Maintenance has somewhat been neglected,
  some of the staff particularly in the restaurants need to smile more! A smile from staff goes a long way to make guests feel at home.
