The staff actually remembers your name after day one, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re navigating a new city and need genuine local advice.

What really got me was how they handle the details that other places overlook. The rooms are clean without that overpowering bleach smell you get at some budget places, and honestly, the beds are way more comfortable than you’d expect for the price point. I mean, I’ve paid twice as much for places where I barely slept. The Wi-Fi actually works consistently – not just in the lobby but in your room too, which is crucial if you’re trying to plan day trips or stay in touch with people back home. You know what else? The hot water is reliable, and trust me, after walking around Hue‘s humid streets all day, that matters more than fancy marble bathrooms.

The location puts you right where you need to be without the tourist trap pricing of being directly on the main drag. It’s close enough that you can walk to the Imperial City and the Perfume River, but you’re tucked away just enough to avoid the constant motorbike noise that can drive you crazy in Vietnamese cities. The morning routine there is actually pretty charming – they serve this simple breakfast that’s nothing fancy, but the coffee is strong and the fruit is always fresh. I ended up chatting with other travelers most mornings, which led to some great day trip recommendations I never would’ve found online. The 9.0 rating makes total sense once you realize they’re not trying to be something they’re not – they’re just really good at being a comfortable, reliable guesthouse where you can recharge between exploring Hue’s incredible history and culture. It’s the kind of place where you show up planning to stay two nights and end up extending because, well, why complicate things when you’ve found something that works?

  I appreciated having space; peace and quiet; amenities you don't get in a hotel (washing machine, stove, full refrigerator, windows that open for fresh air); and a more authentic living experience than you would get in a hotel. The owners were quick to reply when I had questions. We absolutely loved the nearby park and found several close coffee shops we liked. We were a short distance to a bus stop and subway and had several convenience stores within 5 minutes. We also enjoyed shopping at the local street vendors/market. We would happily stay there again!

  Appartamento molto accogliente, arredato con gusto nei minimi dettagli. Molto apprezzato il purificatore d’aria Samsung che mantiene l’aria sempre pulita e profumata: sarà la prima cosa che vorrò comprare anche a casa mia. Il quartiere è ottimale: silenzioso la sera ed a due passi dalla linea 9 della metropolitana e degli autobus con cui vai praticamente dappertutto.

  De ligging is vlak bij een metrostation en dicht bij het appartement is een prachtig park waar je kunt wandelen. Voor eten hoef je niet ver te lopen er zijn genoeg eettentjes in de omgeving. De gastvrouw van het appartement geeft hele duidelijke instructies hoe je er met de metro moet komen. Het appartement zelf is knus en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Dichtbij een GS24 winkel die altijd open is.
