June Stay
Your Seoul Retreat
I’ll be honest with you – June Stay isn’t going to blow you away with luxury, but sometimes that’s exactly what you need. This 3-star spot has that unpretentious vibe that I actually find pretty refreshing after staying at too many places trying way too hard to impress. When I walked into the lobby, my first thought was “okay, this is clean and functional,” which sounds boring but hear me out – there’s something to be said for a place that just gets the basics right without any fuss.
The rooms are, well, what you’d expect for a mid-range hotel. Nothing fancy, but the beds are surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses, so that matters to me), and the bathrooms are updated enough that you’re not dealing with ancient fixtures. What I appreciated most was how quiet it stayed at night – you know how some hotels have paper-thin walls where you hear every conversation in the hallway? Not really an issue here. The housekeeping staff clearly takes pride in their work too, which shows in those little details like properly folded towels and actually clean mirrors. I mean, the rating sits at 6.7 out of 10, and honestly, that feels about right – it’s not winning any design awards, but it’s not disappointing either.
Here’s the thing though – sometimes you just want a decent place to sleep without paying resort prices or dealing with pretentious staff who act like they’re doing you a favor. June Stay delivers on that front. The check-in process was straightforward, no weird hidden fees or pushy upsells, and the front desk folks were genuinely helpful when I needed directions. It’s the kind of place where business travelers seem comfortable setting up shop in the lobby with their laptops, which tells you something about the WiFi and general atmosphere. Look, if you’re planning some Instagram-worthy vacation where every corner needs to be photogenic, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want clean, comfortable, and reliable without breaking the bank – and you’re more interested in exploring wherever you’re visiting rather than hanging out in your hotel room – then you could definitely do worse than booking here.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Seoul at least two months ahead for major events like K-pop concerts and cultural festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular attractions.

Guest Reviews
Great location, close to small eateries and local style pubs, izakayas, etc. Next to a metro, which is awesome for Seoul. Host was friendly and responded to questions relatively promptly. Beds were comfortable and the dining area was nice.
Great size for 2 people! 20ish min walk from the action in Hongdae. Great spot because it’s less touristy and had a younger crowd.
월드컵 경기장에서 가까워서 좋았고 시장과 지하철이 가까워서 편리했습니다.
