I could walk to the main party streets in about three minutes, but when I wanted to escape the chaos, the hotel felt like a quiet refuge. The subway station is close enough that you don’t need to think twice about exploring other parts of Seoul — Hongik University Station is practically around the corner. There’s also this great little convenience store right downstairs, which saved me multiple late-night snack runs.

The room itself is compact but smartly designed — everything has its place, and nothing feels cramped. The bed was surprisingly comfortable for this price range, and I actually slept well despite being in such a lively area. What I really appreciated was the modern bathroom with a proper shower (not one of those tiny stalls you sometimes get in Seoul hotels). The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a lifesaver during my summer visit. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable too — important when you’re trying to navigate a new city or upload those Instagram shots from Hongdae’s street art walls.

Here’s something you might not realize until you stay here — the hotel sits right between the university crowd hangouts and the more upscale dining scene along the Han River. During the day, I’d grab coffee at one of the indie cafes nearby, and at night, well, Hongdae’s legendary nightlife was right there waiting. The area gets pretty animated on weekends, but the hotel’s positioning means you’re close enough to join the fun without being kept awake by it. I also discovered some fantastic Korean BBQ spots just a few blocks away that definitely weren’t tourist traps.

  We love everything about the studio type room, its vicinity packed with shops, restos, convinies including the hospitality of the owner. The area is usually a meetup place for day tours.

  The property looks exactly the same as the photos provided. The location is very convenient, closed to subway and bus station.

  The best location. And all of facilites are more and more my expection. The room so beautiful and have everything which you need to here, charging cable dryer, kitchen tool, washer machine, heater and warm sheet on the bed.

  The place is 100m to Hongik Univ. Exit 2. There are great places around the neighbourhood, all within walking distance.
  The room is clean with all the necessities and appliances. There are also a bed warmer pad underneath the matress.

  Near best parts of Hongdae, great location and so close to the station exit. Clean with good amenities and nearly everything that one needed, eg washing machine, hairdryer, heating pan for winter, inside the apartment. The owner provided a straightforward checkin process and it was seamless and they were so thoughtful about mak by extra probations for the sudden cold weather.
