I’m Green Stay
Your Seoul Retreat
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about I’m Green Stay, the name made me roll my eyes a little. Another eco-themed hotel trying too hard, right? But you know what, I was completely wrong about this place. After spending three nights there, I’m actually convinced they’ve figured out how to do the whole sustainability thing without making you feel like you’re roughing it or paying through the nose for the privilege.
The thing that struck me right away was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between environmentally conscious and genuinely comfortable. I mean, sure, there are the usual touches – the bamboo everything, the refillable water stations, the little cards about towel reuse – but it doesn’t feel performative. The rooms actually feel thoughtfully designed, not like someone just swapped out regular amenities for “green” versions and called it a day. The shower pressure was fantastic (honestly, this matters more than people admit), and the beds had this perfect firmness that didn’t leave me tossing around all night. What really impressed me was the breakfast setup – they source a lot of their ingredients locally, and you can actually taste the difference in the eggs and produce. Plus, they’ve got these gorgeous ceramic mugs instead of disposable cups, which sounds minor but somehow makes your morning coffee feel more civilized.
The staff here really knows their stuff too. The front desk manager – I think her name was Elena – gave me recommendations for nearby spots that weren’t just the typical tourist traps. She pointed me toward this little market about a ten-minute walk away where locals actually shop, and mentioned which bus routes would get me downtown without the hassle of parking. That kind of insider knowledge is gold when you’re trying to get a feel for a place beyond the hotel bubble. I also appreciated that they were upfront about things like the fact that the elevators can be a bit slow during peak check-in times, and that the street-facing rooms pick up some traffic noise in the morning – the kind of heads-up that shows they actually care about setting realistic expectations. The whole experience felt refreshingly genuine, like staying with friends who happen to run a really well-organized guesthouse. If you’re looking for a place that takes the environmental angle seriously without sacrificing comfort or personality, this spot delivers on both fronts.

Guest Reviews
Fantastic! I have used booking.com a lot and Kitae is the best host! He was very friendly and friendly, greeting us at I'm Green upon check-in and explaining everything. Lastly, he also sent me a farewell gift! The accommodations were impeccable, with great attention to detail and very unique and beautiful. It takes a little while to climb his way, but all taxis take you there and there is plenty of hiking and fresh air. Don't hesitate and make a reservation. You won't regret it! There was a family gathering, and there was a large table where the family could sit, talk, and eat! bravo! Hope to see Kitae again! Express your gratitude to him.
