This place actually surprised me in the best way possible. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe that feels more boutique than chain hotel, and the staff immediately struck me as genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions.

What really won me over was the location situation. You’re literally in the heart of Myeongdong, which means you can stumble out of bed and be elbow-deep in street food and shopping within two minutes. I mean, the Myeongdong Cathedral is practically next door, and if you’re into the whole skincare thing (let’s be real, who goes to Seoul and doesn’t hit up at least three beauty stores?), you’re surrounded by every K-beauty shop imaginable. The rooms themselves are what you’d expect from a solid 4-star – nothing groundbreaking, but they’re thoughtfully designed with enough space to actually unpack your suitcase, which is more than I can say for some places in this neighborhood. The beds are surprisingly comfortable, and honestly, the shower pressure was better than my apartment back home.

Here’s the thing though – and this is important – Myeongdong gets absolutely bonkers crowded, especially on weekends and during peak tourist season. But that’s actually where this hotel shines, because when you need to escape the chaos of thousands of people hunting for the perfect sheet mask, you can just slip upstairs to your room and decompress. The soundproofing is decent enough that you won’t be kept awake by the street activity below, though you’ll definitely hear some of the energy if you keep your windows open. The elevators can get a bit slow during check-in rush (around 3-4 PM), but that’s pretty standard for hotels in busy areas. One small thing that bugged me – the air conditioning controls are a bit finicky, so don’t be afraid to call the front desk if you can’t figure them out. Overall, for the price point and that unbeatable location, it’s honestly a solid choice if you want to be right in the thick of Seoul’s shopping and food scene without paying luxury hotel prices.

  Our trip to Myeongdong was a memorable one. The vibrant streets were filled with incredible street food stalls offering a variety of local delights that we couldn't get enough of. From the famous tteokbokki and hotteok to fresh seafood and unique snacks, the street food experience was a major highlight for our family. We also enjoyed exploring local restaurants, which gave us a deeper appreciation of the rich Korean cuisine.
  
  Myeongdong itself is a shopper’s paradise, with countless stores offering everything from trendy fashion to Korean beauty products. We found something for everyone in the family, and the convenience of having everything within walking distance made it even better.
  
  Overall, our stay was comfortable, but it could have been even more enjoyable with more competitive pricing for the breakfast and nightly rates. However, the fantastic location and the rich cultural experience Myeongdong offered through its food and shopping made this trip very special for us.

  Location of this hotel is perfect to our girls trip. Street food and skin care craze!! We arrived around after mid night, we had a stroll around the area looking for food, but we ended up with getting foods from 7/11 convenience store just outside the hotel. Hotel was clean. Two train stations we mostly used is within 5-8mins walk it could be a 30mins walk too if u stop by the shops 🤭
