Hotel Samjung
Your Seoul Retreat
You know what surprised me most about Hotel Samjung? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you upfront, but then quietly delivers on all the things that actually matter when you’re traveling. I mean, sure, it’s got that solid 4-star foundation you’d expect, but there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole experience that I genuinely appreciated.
The lobby hit me with this clean, minimalist vibe – not sterile, just… thoughtful, I guess? Like someone actually considered how tired travelers feel when they walk through those doors. Check-in was smooth (honestly, smoother than some 5-star places I’ve stayed at), and the staff had this calm efficiency that made me think they’ve got their systems down pat. My room was on the seventh floor, and I have to say, the soundproofing was better than expected – you don’t realize how much street noise affects your sleep until you stay somewhere that blocks it out properly. The bedding was crisp without being stiff, and they’d clearly invested in decent pillows, which is such a small thing that makes a huge difference.
What I really liked was how the hotel felt lived-in rather than museum-like. The common areas had this comfortable buzz during evening hours, with a mix of business travelers and tourists who seemed genuinely relaxed rather than just passing through. The restaurant – well, it’s not going to win any culinary awards, but the breakfast spread was solid and they clearly source some ingredients locally, which you can taste in the coffee especially. Parking was straightforward if you’re driving, though I’d recommend asking about it when you book since spots can fill up during busier periods. The location puts you within walking distance of several good local restaurants (the Korean BBQ place two blocks over is worth the short stroll), and you’re close enough to main transit lines without being right on top of the noise. I stayed during what seemed like a busy conference week, and even then, the elevators moved efficiently and the WiFi held up in all the common areas. It’s the kind of place where small details – like having enough outlets near the bed and decent water pressure – remind you that someone’s paying attention to what travelers actually need rather than just what looks good in photos.
Exploring Seoul offers visitors an unforgettable journey through South Korea’s dynamic capital, from its historic Joseon palaces to its futuristic districts and world-renowned Korean entertainment culture.

Guest Reviews
The staff was very helpful and nice ,the view is very beautiful you can see the namsan tower, next to the bus station and train station
The location
The room was super clean and cozy. Good price-quality ratio.
The lobby staff has been super useful in giving us information or making reservations given that we did not speak the language and had problems with local reservations apps.
The room is comfortable and clean. The location is good, about 200 meters from the metro station. There are free toiletries: soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, sewing kit, shower cap, cotton buds and pads. Bottled water, bathrobes and slippers are also provided.
Good location, really easy to reach with Metro. The personal was kind and efficient and the rooms were clean. There is a good availability of restaurants and street food markets nearby. Overall I would suggest to go there.
cleanness, staff, quality of furniture. location was great, closer to bus stop and subway station.
