The rooms themselves are solid – nothing fancy, but everything works properly, the beds are actually comfortable (not too soft, not too firm), and you get decent water pressure in the shower, which is more than I can say for some supposedly fancier places I’ve stayed. I mean, the décor isn’t going to win any design awards, but it’s clean and functional with little touches that show someone cares – fresh flowers in the hallways, decent lighting that doesn’t make you look dead in the mirror.

The 8.1 rating makes perfect sense to me because this isn’t about luxury – it’s about getting the fundamentals right without any unnecessary drama. You know what I appreciated most? The place runs quietly and efficiently. No slamming doors at 2 AM, no elevator music that makes you want to cry, no overly eager housekeeping knocking at dawn. Check-in was smooth, the Wi-Fi actually worked throughout the building (shocking, I know), and when I had a question about local restaurants, they gave me real recommendations, not just the tourist traps that probably pay them commission. It’s the kind of place where business travelers and leisure guests mix easily because everyone’s just comfortable. If you’re looking for Instagram-worthy amenities or a rooftop pool, this probably isn’t your spot, but if you want a reliable, well-run hotel where you can actually relax and feel like a person rather than a room number, Hotel President delivers exactly that.

  Perfect location in the centre of Seoul, room was comfortable and clean in 29 th floor. Good view. Breakfast was part of my booking but there was a great coffee house downstairs with plenty to offer.

  This hotel is in the middle of everything so it is very convenient. The rooms were clean and the layout of the room we were in was good. The airport limo stop is 50m up the road, shopping up the road, markets within a 15 min walk.
