Hotel Morning Sky Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Hotel Morning Sky? The name actually makes perfect sense once you stay there. I’m talking about those absolutely gorgeous sunrises you can catch from the upper floors – honestly, I found myself waking up early just to watch the sky change colors through those big windows they have.
This is a solid three-star place that punches way above its weight, and that 8.2 rating really reflects what you get here. I mean, you’re not getting marble lobbies or concierge service, but what you do get is this really genuine hospitality that feels refreshing after dealing with some of those cookie-cutter chain hotels. The staff actually remembers your name after a day or two, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re traveling. The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but the beds are surprisingly good quality and the bathrooms are updated enough that you don’t feel like you’re staying in someone’s grandfather’s house. Actually, the shower pressure is better than half the four-star places I’ve stayed at recently.
What really won me over was how they handle the little things. There’s always fresh coffee in the lobby (and I mean actually good coffee, not that bitter stuff you usually get), and they keep local maps and restaurant recommendations that are clearly written by people who live in the area, not just printed from some tourism board website. The breakfast isn’t elaborate, but it’s hearty and they accommodate dietary restrictions without making you feel like you’re asking for the moon. Parking is straightforward and free, which honestly saves you a headache and some cash right there. The location works well too – you’re close enough to everything important but tucked away from the main traffic noise, so you can actually sleep at night. I stayed during what seemed like a busy period and never felt crowded or like I was competing for service. The Wi-Fi is reliable throughout the building, the air conditioning works properly, and the whole place just feels well-maintained without being sterile. It’s the kind of hotel where you’d feel comfortable bringing your parents or staying for business, but also relaxed enough for a weekend getaway.
To book hotel in Seoul during the vibrant cherry blossom season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts K-culture enthusiasts and modern travelers from around the world.

Great service from the front desk and there is a washing machine in the room which is very convenient. Moreover, they provide a washing capsule as per request! 👍

It was a clean room.
Alexandra from Spain (9/10)
Very centric location, close to two metro stations. Clean room, the fridge, the washing nachine and aircon working perfectly. Very friendly and helpful staff – checked us in a bit earlier, stored the luggage on the last day free of charge. The installations may be a little outdated, but nothing critical. Overall very pleasant stay!

Comfortable beds, AC, fridge & extra sink, laundromat, bathroom.
Very helpful staff at reception!M from Estonia (9/10)
Good room that was cleaned daily. Room was equipped with fridge for storing food items, and also a washing machine, I didn't use the latter. There was an aircon for the hot days, but also the window could be opened (with a screen against bugs) on the cooler days.
Loved the view on the small park just outside the hotel. Easy to navigate to and from hotel both by bus and train. As half of my stay coincided with a national holiday in South-Korea, the neighbourhood was very quiet on those days, but even after holidays ended, it wasn't a particularly busy street, so it was pleasant. There were also restaurants and convenience stores nearby.Soh from Singapore (8/10)
