The location is actually perfect if you want to be in the thick of Seoul‘s nightlife scene without dealing with the chaos right outside your door. You’re close enough to stumble back from the clubs and bars around Hongik University (locals just call it Hongdae, obviously), but far enough that you won’t have drunk college kids singing karaoke under your window at 3 AM. I stayed here during peak season and was surprised how quiet it was – the designer clearly thought about soundproofing, which is rare in this price range. The whole place has this boutique hotel vibe despite being more of a guesthouse setup, with common areas that actually make you want to hang out rather than just rush through.

What really sold me was the attention to small details that most places completely ignore. The bathroom fixtures are actually nice – not just functional but stylish. The bedding feels expensive (though I’m guessing it wasn’t), and there are these little touches like proper reading lights and enough outlets positioned where you actually need them. The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places where everything just works the way it should. The check-in process was smooth, the owner speaks excellent English and gave solid recommendations for late-night eats in the area, and honestly, the whole experience felt more personal than staying at some generic chain hotel. If you’re planning to explore Seoul’s creative district and want somewhere that reflects that artistic energy while still being practical and comfortable, this is definitely worth booking.

  This place is unique. The apartment is decorated with the smallest details, tastefully and with atmosphere. If you don't like hotels, and focus on comfort and privacy, this place has just that.
  The decor makes you feel at home and really relaxes the body and mind, after a long day spent sightseeing and getting to know the city.
  We were there in August, so the weather was demanding and very hot outside, but inside the house it was cool and pleasant thanks to the air conditioning.
  The apartment is in such a place that everything is close, the colorful streets of Hongdae, parks, subway, bus, shops and markets, currency exchange, everything is nearby.
  Very good communication with the owner.
  We are very grateful.
  We will definitely come back and recommend with all our hearts this place.
