The rooms are what I’d call “thoughtfully simple” – not fancy by any stretch, but everything you need is there and it’s all been carefully chosen. The beds are actually comfortable (and I’m picky about this stuff), the WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes like so many places, and the bathrooms are spotless. What really got me though was the attention to small details that most guesthouses completely miss. Fresh towels that don’t smell like industrial detergent, decent water pressure, and – this might sound weird – but the lighting is perfect for reading. Not too harsh, not too dim. Someone who travels a lot clearly designed these spaces.

I mean, sure, it’s a 3-star place so don’t expect marble countertops or room service, but the value here is incredible. The common areas have this relaxed vibe where you’ll find yourself chatting with other travelers over coffee in the morning, and the staff genuinely knows the area – not just the tourist trap recommendations, but the kind of local spots you’d never find on your own. They helped me track down this amazing little restaurant that wasn’t in any guidebook, and when I had an issue with my flight, the front desk guy actually helped me sort it out instead of just shrugging and pointing to a phone. During my stay, the place was busy but never felt chaotic or overcrowded – there’s something about the layout that keeps things peaceful even when it’s full. Honestly, I’ve stayed at places twice the price that couldn’t match the combination of comfort, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality you get here.   The location is perfect! It’s very close to the subway entrance and the airport limousine bus stops across the street. The room is small but very clean and well kept. There’s a good bakery/ cafe around the corner. There are tons of shopping spots near by. I enjoyed my stay. I would definitely stay again in future.

  Comfortable. Good location. Room was as advertised. Clean, neat, airy. They provided toiletries, multi-plug socket and hairdryer. I had 24-hour access to hot and cold water. Jo Ang was helpful and nice. Will book a room there again if I go back to Seoul.

  The owner very kindly gave the instructions to stay. Also there are many cats living. It was good to play with cats when we leave and arrive from the trip. You can use as much towels as possible. You can have free coffee and snacks for free.

  Very convenient location,just a few steps from the subway station.It was so quiet at nights since it’s located in a small alley.Common kitchen is available to have breakfast and prepare your own meals

  Very good location, near to subway Dongdaemun station exit 10(but no lift to reach) and differents attractions kwangjang market and Cheonggyecheon.
  WONDERFUL STAFF, very helpful, always ready to help for carrying luggages (no lift )even for early departures.
  Little room, but very well organized for everything you need. 
  Very clean inside and outside.
  Toilet paper and clean serviettes always ready on the corridor.
  Useful kitchen for guest at the floor, fresh water dispenser, fridge free for guest at the floor.
  If it was possible I would give 12 !
  Thankfully for everything it was really a very good staying.
  I suggest to every traveller.
