Gyeongbokgung Stay – Two Bedrooms
Your Seoul Retreat
First Impressions
Walking up to Gyeongbokgung Stay – Two Bedrooms in Seoul, you immediately get that “tucked away in something special” feeling. It’s nestled on this quiet side street in Jongno-gu, but honestly, the location is what makes this place shine. I mean, you’re literally a stone’s throw from Gyeongbokgung Palace — hence the name — and the whole area has this perfect mix of traditional Korean charm and modern city energy. The building itself is unassuming, but that’s actually part of its appeal.
The Neighborhood Magic
Here’s what I love about staying here — you’re in the absolute heart of historical Seoul, but it doesn’t feel touristy or overwhelming. The three-star property sits in what locals consider one of the best neighborhoods in the city, and honestly, I can see why couples rate the location so highly. You can walk to Bukchon Hanok Village in about ten minutes, and there are these amazing little cafes and traditional tea houses scattered throughout the winding streets. The subway access is solid too, which you’ll appreciate when you want to explore other parts of the city.
The Space Itself
The two-bedroom setup works really well for families or friends traveling together — there’s actually enough space to spread out without feeling cramped. Each room has that clean, minimalist Korean aesthetic going on, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about this stuff). What I found practical was the little seating area where you can plan your day or just decompress after walking around the palaces. The whole place feels more like a well-designed apartment than a typical hotel room, which gives you that “living in Seoul” vibe rather than just visiting.
Daily Life and Practicalities
You know what’s nice? The staff actually knows the neighborhood and can point you toward the good stuff — not just the obvious tourist spots. There’s a decent restaurant scene within walking distance, from traditional Korean barbecue places to these hole-in-the-wall noodle shops that locals frequent. I’d recommend grabbing breakfast at one of the nearby bakeries rather than expecting a big hotel spread — this isn’t that kind of place, and that’s perfectly fine. The whole experience feels more authentic because of it.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t about fancy amenities or over-the-top service — it’s about being in exactly the right spot to experience Seoul properly. The fact that couples consistently give the location perfect scores tells you something important about how this place works. You’re close enough to major attractions that you can easily walk there, but far enough from the main tourist drag that you get to see how the neighborhood actually functions. For a three-star property, it delivers on what matters most: a comfortable base in an incredible location that lets you dive into the real Seoul experience.

Guest Reviews
Everything about the apartment was excellent. Very clean, comfortable beds, great washer and dryer for laundry. The location is also excellent, and convenient to bus stops, subway stations, restaurants, and the palace. Thank you for a wonderful visit.
The location is great, well-connected and plenty of things to do around.
We were 4 girls on a trip for more than a week in korea and the house accommodated us perfectly. Washer (soap inc), dryer (drying rack inc), steam iron, kitchen, hairdryer was included. The owner was very friendly even helped us to the house the first time even though it was past midnight. Provided us with bottled water. responded to texts quickly. Super close to the palace (could see it walking out the house). Bus stops and subways are just a few mins away. Convenience stores and a daiso is near the place.
Les 2 chambres . Le quartier et la proximité du temple
